Being a noob at growing I found out that these hours arnt a good way to grow and I should have been going for 18/6 for a month atleast , my plants are almost 1.5 months old and about 18 inch tall , I *think* they are both female I just transplanted them as they had out grown the pots. They look a bit small and maybe not as bushy as they should be from what i've seen on here but for a noob grow it's an ok start. Anyway to get these plants to start flowering ( growing buds ) should I either increase the light hours to 18/6 for a few weeks and then go back to 12/12 or just lower the hours now but increase the light intensity? so go from 12/12 to 8/16 or 6/18 ect etc.

Thanks.

If they've started flowering, I say leave it at 12/12. Sometimes it's good to experiment and see what happens, it's the best way to learn about growing IMO. By chance, do you know if you're growing an autoflower strain? If so, light cycle doesn't matter quite as much.

I say just go with it for this round and see what happens... and apply what you've learned to your future grows.
