I have a few plants that have been on 12 hours on 12 hours off for lighting. When should I start with nutrients for the vegetative period, and when should I start with flowering nutrients?

12/12 lighting is for flowering so i would not give it veg nutes. How long has it been in 12/12? usual lighting for veg is 18/6 or 24/0

feed'em a lower strength than the recommened dose and see how they respond. Then bump it up from there if they like it, just watch for nute burn, but if they're 4wks old, they're love it!

That's what I was thinking. Tonight I gave them each 200 mL 60%flowering nutes 20% veg nutes and 20% H2O

Does the plant require the vegetative nutrients to grow more efficiently?
The plants respond to veg nutes more efficiently when its vegging because it has the right mix of n-p-k for plants in the vegetative stage. When in veg u want nutes that r high in n and in flowering you want it high in p-k.Since your plant been flowering for a month they should go at recommended dose for the age.

It has being flowering for a week.

You don't think it will help it at all to sparsely giving it vegitative nutrients throughout the first few weeks of 12/12 lighting?

I just thought under the circumstances of only being vegged for 3 weeks, it may help to still feed some vegetative nutrients.:?:

the flowering nutes should be all you need since you want big buds. You might want to get some flowering enhancers to increase the final weight.
