Hey RUI I figured I might as well start a thread for the grandaddy blueberry plants I have in my tent instead of updating their growth on my SOG thread. Ill be adding the second 600w hood after my SOG finishes in about two weeks. Heres the specs:

-Grow room: 4'x4'x6' grow tent
-Ballist(2): 600w MH/HPS digital ballist with 8" and 4" air cooled hood set 6" from plants
-Ventilation Fan- 4" vortex inline fan, house fan for circulation
-Lights(VEG): 600w digilux MH
-Lights(Flower): 600w Sunpulse 3000k MH and 600w EYE hortilux HPS
-Temperature: 77.5*F during the day and 55*F at night
-Humidity: Between 30% and 50% RH
-Grow Medium: 7.5 gallon smart pots filled with fox farm ocean forest/perlite
-Nutrients: Fox farm nutrient line (according to their feeding schedule) and EM-1
-Strains: 4 Granddaddy Blueberry clones (all trained with LST)
-Vegged: 7-8 weeks
-Watering Schedule: every 5-8 days with PH of 6.5-6.8

The pictures start from when I moved four from the flowering tent to my veg room and end with a picture taken today. This strain is an aggressive grower, easily filling the 3x3 veg space in a matter of weeks with thick, healthy growth tips. One of the plants is MUCH larger than the others in terms of leaf and stem size. The leaves are easily 5 times larger and the main stem is 2-3 times thicker than the others. Curious because they are all from the same mother plant... I cant wait to see these girls finish, especially seeing the ones in my SOG start to near harvest. If the colas on those girls are any indication of how the colas will look on the four I just started flowering, I should have some MASSIVE nugs.

Feel free to post pictures, comments, experiences, questions or suggestions as im always glad to hear and learn from fellow growers! If you have an LST grow similar to my own, definitely post your suggestions ill give you rep!

Also, if anybody has experience or knowledge about the strain Granddaddy blueberry, or even granddaddy purple and blueberry, it would be greatly appreciated!

yeee you just through in another 600 surfer? are you going perpetual now?
Ya I figured it couldnt hurt haha, my friend wasnt using his so I borrowed it to flower a SOG while I vegged these out. In about two weeks when they finish flowering ill be moving the HPS into the tent to finish the four I vegged out. If I had more time in my apt I would definitely be doing a perpetual grow but im moving out in three months and dont know when ill be able to grow again.. But until then ill be going out with some super chronic buds!

Just took a few pics while watering today, theyve completely consumed every bit of space in my tent and Im hoping they dont outgrow it. They are looking really healthy though, nice tight internode spacing and thick woody stems. They're definitely going to be putting on some weight in the near future!

Still dont have my camera available to upload pictures but ive taken a few with my phone to keep the thread current. The plants are massive now, easily three feet tall. Also, I can finally see where the colas are going to form and from the looks of them the the nugs are going to be huge. Now that my other grow is finishing up, I have moved two of the plants downstairs and now there is one 600w bulb per two plants.

Hey RUI, its been a while! The surf has been epic the last few weeks so most of my free time has been spent in the water but now that theres a lull in the swell I can post some pics of the girls. They've grown up quite a bit since my last update and have really taken to the duel spectrum 1200w. The nugs are filling in nicely and are incredibly dense for week 6. Im hoping for around 2.5-3 ounces per plant and from their progression so far, that could definitely be possible. They're getting watered every two days now with EM-1, Cha-Ching, tiger bloom and big bloom being added every other watering. The cha-ching seems to be doing its job though, the buds are completely covered in sticky resin! Smells great too, but my allergies are making it impossible to enjoy haha. Let me know what you all think!

mannn what a wait its been, worth it though! that is crazy how fat they are at 6 weeks. I think you'll go 3+ oz on each easy. Those indica nugs are heavy as cheese. Love the training youve done on them as well mate, looks so clean. Glad you're good bro and the garden looks sick as hell!

Great to hear from you! It has definitely been a long while and it's good to inally be back long enough to post, I've missed the forums. The girls are fattening up real nice moving into week 6, and with another 2+ weeks left I can't imagine what they're going look like finished. What's interesting though is the two separate phenos I noticed in my last grow were definitely in the genetics. I must have gotten my clones from two different mothers because one plant looks much denser with rounder nugs and bright orange hairs while the other 3 have more spear like nugs (although just as fat and dense) with dark red hairs. The three also seem to be purpling faster and are already showing the coloring under the leaves and around the edges. Strange though, the one with bright orange hairs and rounder nugs is finishing faster. It already has amber trichs popping up everywhere and the hairs are almost all orange now. Do you know if its typical for different phenos to mature at different rates? Either way the girls are doing well. How's your grow coming along?

I'm always lurken around my friend.

Yeah bro it's totally typical for them to mature at different rates. I'm going through the same thing. The one pheno was done at nine weeks and the second is just starting to finish going on twelve weeks. The one that finished has rock solid nugs and the second looks like it's gonna be some airy bud.

Thats good to know, Im going to harvest that one a bit early I think and let the other three soak up the full 1200w until they turn almost completely amber in the trichs (and hopefully completely purple in the process!). Your grows looking great, I had a chance to check out your new aero-pots, very nice! I've always wanted to grow with them but 30 bucks is over my budget haha. How's your last harvest?

Depending on what size your looking for I guess they can get expensive. I use this guy on eBay to get mine. For three 2.4 gallon size like mine is 22 bucks w/o shipping. If you don't see what you want listed, you can shoot him a message and he'll put together what ever you want. Here's the link to the cheapest I've found anywhere.

Damn that's a crazy good deal on the pots, I might have to upgrade my next grow! Have you ever used smart pots? I think they both air prune your roots I'm just not sure what the difference between them is. Thanks for the heads up!

Nah, I've never used smart pots. There basically the same thing though. There made out of some type of fabric and the roots start to grow through the fabric and then get air pruned. Ive heard people say that after using the smart pot and then switching to the superoot air pot that they prefer the air pots to the smart pots. I guess it's just personal preference though.

Check ya later.

Ya that's what I've heard, definitely going to try them out on my next grow

I actually have 2 grandDaddy blueberrys in the last phase of flower just starting to get some Color. Awesome strain. I have a mother growing out. It's the first I had heard of it when I got it from a friend. I googled the strain when I first started vegging my girls and there wasn't anything on the Internet about it. I was actually considering sog with this strain it looks like I will be going ahead with that. I wil post some pics very soon. I'm actually in the process of flowering some gods gift as well I've decided to cross the 2 and develop a strain. It will be quite some time before I have that stable but I'm really excited about it. The bluedaddy is a beautiful strain I will post some fully mature pictures as well as some trimmed cured photos very soon!
Happy gardening!
