13 days from seed. how they look

They are 13 days old from seed. i see a bit of yellow on the middle of them. not really much but was wondering if it should be of concern and should i change or itsmy set up ok for now

temps are about 78 in the rockwool. 80-89 degrees around the plants but usually about 80-82 around them humidity is about 35%. cant seem to get it up.

im using a 250watt mh light. but these lights can get the closet to about almost 90 degrees. so i leave door open 90% of the time so temps can be in the low 80's a few of them are showing roots on the bottom of the smaller slabs of rockwool

no nutes and ph to about 5.95- 6.1

lights 18/6 and light is about 15 inch away from top of plants i have a small fan on low 24/7

It looks like a good start to me. Yellow on the stem is weird, but probably nothing. What strain is it?

just looked at someone else pics and at 1.5 weeks from seed they have like 4- 6 leaves already. why is mine still only a sprout

nice plant check mine only 9 days old w.widow x NL#5=crystal

thier fine. they look like a bunch of little horses ready to take off... but maybe u could use dirt?

They look fine to me.
Some just grow faster depending on lights and growing medium, I wouldn't worry bout it.

why dont you start giving them nutes. just a little will make them shoot up. about 1/4 strength

they look nice. try a little nutes, get that red out of the stem.

i really dont think its a good idea to give nutes that early. my first time i had a over nute problem and i know what it does first hand. many people say that they can go for 4 weeks b4 any nutes but also that i should only give nutes when the cotyden thing starts yellowing. im gonna wait till that happens or when i get some more growth or 3 weeks in.

But do you really think its ok to give them a little nutes now? maybe like 100-150ppm if i am gonna nute them.

this is gonna be hydro thats why no soil.

i thought hydroponics they would grow faster.

and look at nellyatcha's 9 days from seed?

what about germinating??

cause mine i started counting days from when i took seed out of pack and placed in rockwool.

i didnt do any paper towerl or water in a cup germinating as i heard that best way is straight into medium which has worked great for me. They popped from rockwool in 2 days and from day 6 to now havent grown much

nellyatcha.. do you have any nutes in?

Why don't you check out the Bubbleponics thread? Since you are doing hydro, there are a bunch of seasoned vets on there that could help you out. I am on day 8 myself. Started in rockwool like you - popped in 2 days and look fine but haven't grown much. I had put in a light nute solution (GH Flora series) and it seemed to be too much so drained my res and just put in good pH water. They seem much happier now. The general concensus on the BP thread is to start nutes when the plant shows 6 leaves - the first 4 and then the next 2. After that they are ready for a reduced nute solution. On the GH Flora bottles, it falls under seedlings, clones and is ~ 1/4 solution. You look like you are a couple of days away. From what I have seen, they can seem to start slow but take off fast so don't worry. Your plants look very healthy. Good luck.
