140 W cfl 1 month into FLowering. LST -Critcal Mass x Jack Herer YOUR OPINION WANTED!

Just wanted some feedback and opinions on my first indoor grow. Planted 1/2/14 Flowered 2/1/14.

Do they smell strongly?
What kinda ventilation/filter you got going on in there?

how do you feel about it is the question. i think the second set of pics is a better looking plant. the first one is goin alittle slowly it looks. check out my thread I have some of the same kinda things going on. some plants are getting big and filling out and some just arent. might be that they are going to finish at different times. but lookin good none the less

Its the same plant, just differrent angles. it smells like weed but also a little mildewy. Ive checked for bud-rot and found nothing. I have no filters, Im in my own house and my neighbors are cool. In regards to the mildew smell. my plants is in a basement with shit air flow. and its humid. I understand these aren't the best circumstances, but, I have no room

I feel confident. I just dont want to put off harvesting to get more buds and end up with rot

for ventilation I have a 100cfm exhaust fan. my cabinet isnt 100% airtight (on purpose) room stays 100% dark during dark period, so thats my intake.

The only problem I see is the humid, stale basement air. but since its 9 degrees out I really can introduce fresh air.
occasionally I put a fan in-line with the stairs to exchange air. (temps hover between 70 and 83 during daytime and low 60s at night.

for the humidity go to lowes and get some dessicant. you can put it in buckets or bowls around the area and it will suck up the moisture. the mildewy smell might just be the basement, but my plants also have an odd smell to them, not quite the smell of weed you are use to. Hope that after the flush and cure they will have a more appealing smell to them but at the moment I get the random foul smell comming off them.

I'd say skip the dessicant and buy a dehumidifier. It will pull the moisture out more efficiently and will provide years of use.

Yeah, I had a similar issue with my last my plant having a weird smell although my boyfriend didn't even notice. But it smelled kinda musky, earthy like. The smoke was still great though, so funny smells don't always stick around! But they look really nice for 1 month. Look like they're gonna fill out nice. Good luck with the rest of your grow!
