$15,000 tent or room set up?

Hello everyone,

Been looking at the forums for awhile, and have gotten tons of information, thanks in advance. I have grown outdoors before no more that 10 plants. I am now looking to grown indoors using hydroponics. I am in Michigan and a caregiver with 5 patients so I am able to have max 72 plants.

I have 2 questions:

1. I would like to have a continous flow of plants, month after month and was seeking a breakdown of how to keep it in rotation. How many veg, flowerin, mother, clones (you get the gist)

2. Since its my first time growing indoors, should I go the fully aumotated tent route or convert 2 unused large bedroom to grow rooms? (not handy man inclined) so i would have to hire someone to convert.

any and all advice is appreciated...

I fully believe in doing it fully first time but if cost is an issue you'd upgrade after the first couple months anyways. I mean honestly once you start growing you start looking for any and every space you can grow in lol

Oh ya it should cover it. What are your specs? What lighting you at and what type of growing are you planning need to know particulars to give u an idea of cost. Im saying go all the way the first time you'll be much happier than having to redo it. Any help you need Im a consultant for a living but give it for free on here like to help people kill it

well both rooms are 16 x 16 with full bathrooms attached to them (dont know if that matters). As for lighting I prefer to go the LED route. Assume I have nothing as I will be starting from complete scratch.

So grow wise I would like to harvest about 25-30 plants a month, and keep in constant rotation.

2977.jpeg Ok well if you wanna talk LEDs @ttystikk is the man to talk to he knows everything bout em in almost every aspect. 16'-16' for flower imo should be about 36 plants 6 rows of 6 would be sick. And you could run pots with tupur which is coco just way better and it's a cheap setup that pulls major weight partner just did 34lbs on 14 gavitas so this system pulls weight and LEDs should do same if better if properly done. What are your ceiling heights?

my ceiling heights are your standard 8/9 foot ceilings. What is the ceiling in the grow? and how much did that setup cost roughly?

Lights are at 9ft but gavitas have to be up high extremely strong but also alot of heat and AC cost. 100% worth it tho every two months of flowering costs about 2400$ in electric water and nutes. That being said 34lbs at 2 a lb to all the patients is not only cheap for them but is a lot of electricity and nutrient money lol my personal choice is between led and gavitas. I run hps but switching to gavitas soon or LED. All depends what your trying to do cash crop, personal, or mix of both

I'm far from the only one who knows about LED lights in relation to gardening.

If y'all wanna talk turkey, let me know and I'll bring the cranberry sauce.

Ya but your only one I know personally and i have seen in person doing great things with them. Not many people I'll credit with good led grows and we're not done tweaking yours to perfection yet and yours shuts me up about gavitas lol.

Thanks, brother! I still think we're just scratching the surface, there's so much more to learn about growing with them.

WOW $1,200 month in electric/water/nuts thats a pretty penny but the 34 lbs off of how many plants? As for me looking at a cash crop

Wow!! What im thinking is to convert (1) 16 x 16 bedroom to a grow room, housing 30 plants, use LED (lower electricity cost).

IN 2nd bedroom, utilize a tent for veg, and mother plant/clones. This should reduce overall cost of convertng two rooms and allow for better equipment and strains.

Exactly but you have an even room if u use pots you can slide them so they can fit Wall to wall till u need to feed then make rows and put em back. It'd be Walla to wall plants lol

I have no experience in anything that big or costly but with that budget you would have to go room/s. Less mucking around, less to go wrong, a bigger yield for space used and more working space.
