IMO the 10+gal pots will be worth it if you yield more per plant than 7-10oz since people have gotten that with much smaller pots. And then again, you can fit 4 3 gallon pots in the same area as a 15 gallon and might be able to pull 20+ oz off of those 4 total. So is it worth it to grow in a huge pot? imo Would depend on the Ounce:Gallon ratio.

Iv got
To keep my plant numbers low as possible so I'm fine with bigger pots and pulling only 50 percent more yield
Just to stay save


And plus dirt is cheap less then 500 for this whole
Grow 2 oz will cover that

Well, if plant numbers are a concern, it's a slightly different story.

If it's a legal limit issue, you might wanna try building a nice big outdoor scrog to increase the side of all the smaller colas while remaining within the law. It's be as simple at 4 wooden planks, some nails, and some chicken wire fencing.

I Defenetly want to try a scrog inside it was hard holding up all the buds when I did the indoor over the winter. I bet the screen helps a lot.

last time i interact with you bro

but let me be the one to go ahead and tell you something that a few folks have figured out lately within the last couple years
auto's tap root shoots out sideways kinda at a 45 degree angle when it touches something vertical growth pretty much stops
so for the plant to hit FULL POTENTIAL the tap root has to grow uninhibited until the plant hits flower
so you may think a 3 gal is the biggest pot you need but people that have grown multiple times in 5 and 7 gal buckets and in 3 gal containers WILL tell you from personal EXPERIENCE that a 5 or 7 gal will out do a 3 gal any day of the week
now YOU and a handful of others may THINK a 10 or 15 gal is too large and a waste but it is just your opinion
this guy has $500 in soil an i doubt at most maybe $100 in additives if i had to guess
he does not have to feed his plants if he really doesnt want to and will still out yield a 3 gal by far
ohh and what no one has mentioned is more soil stays cooler and holds water better so his plants are happier
a 3 gal or even a 5 gal bucket must be tended daily or the plant dies
i bet he can go a week without having to water

And absolutely right about the only having to water once a week well. Now about every 3 days since there big and it's hot, I had 6 in 5 gallon fabric pots I just gave them to my friend cause I couldn't go to this spot every other day or every day so the tens totally helped in that aspect.
