Dutch Master makes a product called liquid light.
It is sprayed with the lights on to increase the available light.
It works pretty well
I use it.
google Liquid Light

It is pretty expensive,
but a bottle will last a long time,
through many grows.

I mix 100ml of RO
with 6ml Penetrator
and 6ml of Liquid Light,
then spray it on the plants until they are soaked.
Twice a week when the lights come on.

If you were gonna upgrade lights make sure the ballast can run HPS and MH. use the MH for veg and HPS for flower, and 400W your plants will love it.

Nice econolight btw

We are constructing a cab out of 3/4" plywood and gorilla glue, along with a 4" duct to exhaust and a passive intake, lights will be the same, we may transplant into larger plants. We named them today, they have grown a lot. Pics will be done tomorrow...

I also rigged the 4" inline fan up to an extension cord, it works great, electrical is very simple to me.

Well i got the box mostly done today, tomorrow is going to be the doors, and some more mylar, as well as finishing light proofing it... but onto how much the plants have grown...

That is a shot of four of the plants we have, penny is in the back right, mrs. robinson is in the big white pot, and prudence is the front right, and Lucy is in the back left. Prudence was FIMd, penny is natural, and Mrs. Robinson is a big bushy, was once LST'd and growing a 9 leaf set, and Lucy is natural.

Top shot of Prudence.

underside of Mrs. Robinson

Mrs. Robinson likes flashing.

an indication of the height of Lucy.

Far right plant, it was in the clear jug in other photos, you can see how much it has grown, look at the nice nodes too

More natural beauty from Lucy

and a shot of our LST'd plant, this baby is nicely growing too...

Anyone see anything crazy or have anything to say? thanks for compliments, or input.

temps are 80F and humid is 35-40%, if you look in one of the pics you can see the pot bottom with water in it, it evaporates completely every 2-3 days, so nothing gets a chance to grow in it.

New photos, one of the biggest problem plant, and some new pots for the ladys, They were all semi rootbound in the 1 gallon pots. so now they are all in 3 gallon pots with a humidifier. Temps are now hovering in the 75f range, humidity is anywhere form 50-70, though i think 70 is to high.

Mrs. Robinson is still a bushy little bitch, when we LST'd her we figured it would grow up after, but dear god is she bushy.

We also FIM'd one, which i have a photo of. there is definately new growth, but i think some MAY have been slightly stunted by rootbound. The soil is now a 70-30 mix FFOF/Vermiculite, I know it holds water, i learned this after mixing, and dont want to go back out and spend $60 that i dont have on FFOF and Perilite. When they were put into the larger pots, we waterd them with ONLY plain water, no nutes... We had been watering every time with 1 tbsp of EJ Grow to 1 pitcher of water, using about 2 pitchers per watering. I believe it was 1 gallon total of water. We would water them every 3 days or when they started drooping.

Enough talking. Ill answer any questions, I would love to try and teach more ppl about how easy this was to setup (i know our cab isnt perfect, but thats what you get when you dont have a truck to transport plywood, and have to have HD cut the pieces, where he doesnt take into account the 1/8" width a saw blade comes out, and I had to run back into the store to have him cut two larger pieces down b/c they didnt fit in my car, grr, but hey, we made due... btw gorilla glue is amazing.)

Anyways, b/c of shoddy box construction, i believe we are going to weather strip the room its in since that room can also be made completely dark (fruit cellars for the win).

enough talking. (shit i said that before, sorry)

We are beginnign flowering, you can see how much they have grown since we last posted pics...

we fed them with plain water the last 3 times, and the nute burn problems have gone away... so obviously the FFOF still has enough to last the plant, all we need to do now is start feeding them w/ bloom.

all are welcome to comment.
