16 Days and still no roots from Aero Cloner

Ok, I placed 8 clones in my home made cheap aero clone machine. Small rubbermaid containter, two black(flexible) bubble wands, H2O heater, Whisper dual air pump is the set up. My Question is, should the bottom of the stems be submerged in the water or just above the water, also should my air pump be on 24/7 or 15minon/15minoff?
I stoped growing for about two years but I am back at it again. Its hard to see but I can see small bumps on them, I mean really small, I have to put them up to the light to see them. Also a few of them have a little bit of "slime" on the bottom tips. I use distilled water and 1tablespoon of Hydroguard. They have already grown an extra set of fan leaves, would it be a good idea to transplant into soil now? I will try and post some picks later, this is my first post.

Thanks to all of those who read this post and Extra thanks to those who reply.

SOrry about the pics the stem pics are not that great, you can't really see the very small bumps. However the other two show a before and after view. Has you can see the plant is growing, only 3 show very small bumps or clear "slime". Would they be OK to transplant into soil? I guess this is not areo, more like hydroponics. Next time I clone should I keep the stmes above the water? Timer?

Thank You

They shouldn't be submerged, they won't seek out water if they are too moist. The problem with aero cloning, is most people don't think about pH in these situations, when in fact pH is always important. If the pH is lower than 5.8 or higher than 6.2, the aero cloner is useless. I was more than furious to realize I had wasted so many babies because I didn't think to check pH. Hope this helps.

Also since humidity is still important if you don't have a dome, spray them every time you think about anything that can even be vaguely related to marijuana. So like, hey I'm going golfing tomorrow. Golf has greens, marijuana's green, Oh! Time to spray the clones. and so on.

this is not an aero cloner

its a bubble cloner

lower your water levels and no its not supposed to be submerged.

if it was, maybe they are dead. just using up the stored nitro in them

just my twocents

I got some new clones today, six total. I bought a PH meter, PH Up/PH Down. All I had to the distilled H2O is 1tbls. of Hydroguard, and set the PH to 5.6. This time I have the stems above the H20, air pump runs 24/7.
I have a bottle of Clonex Solution, should I add some to the H2O?
I will post some pics later tonight....

Just one more word of advice. Run bleach, peroxide, h2o2, or some kind of strerilizer through your pump and hoses before you try again. I made this mistake, I bleached the tub and replaced neopreme, but didn't clean out the pump. A little bad bacteria can spread fast.

Raider fan is onto something. Even tho he is a Raider fan... But I have had issues with temps being too low also. Right around room temp seems to be the best. Add some hydrogen peroxide throughout to keep things clean.

Clones like it warm and humid not room temp. You want your res temp around room temp say like 69 is optimal.fwiw
