1600 watt grow STLbudz

What up rollit up i had started my grow from the first week of veg but due to recent hacking all data was lost so ill just pic up from where i left off, I have 7 Blue Dream,6 purple diesel, 4 Og kush, and 1 Ghost Og, I had them in 1 gal pots for 2 weeks then but them into 5 gal buckets started veg in Feb/17, I started Flower last week on the 13th after a 24 hour complete darkness period.

Plants size before 12/12 was 12-16" now its 16-24" blue dreams steched about 5-9" since 12/12

Specs:
Meduim: FF Ocean Forest and mixed in about 25% perilite with the bottom 1-2 inches Just perilite
Nutrients:Fox Farm line also gravity and snowstorm
Lighting:1600 watt hps 1 1000 1 600 both with hortilux bulbs
PPM: i started at 250 i up it 50-80 weekly last feed was 350 ppm
PH: 6.3-6.7 Usually around 6.4
Container: 5 gal buckets
Ventilation: 8 inch inline connected 2 hoods and filter located outside room for exhaust and 6 inch for intake,better off with 4 inch tho
Temps:72-78
Training: super cropping, topped a few and tied down
Goal:28-36 oz

not a bad setup there bro,how long u been growing for? me im only new to hps bizzo i only got a 400w son-t agro full spectrum bulb,i used to run cfls but only for cloneing now.......when i do clone that is. Hps WASTES CFLS i must say lol,ive only been growing for the last 2 years officaly but im still learning as im going organic tastes so much better.

Hey what up guys I havnt up loaded any update pics yet,today is DAY 8,I will upload some this morning when lights go off at 9,I have em from 9pm to 9am so I can stay off peak hours cheaper per kilowatt,I lollipopped them last night and feed them as well with a spray down for pest prevention 1 time during during veg(depends on veg length ,1 time begining of flower,I always do it no matter what I HATE MITES N BUGS lol specs below.

Plants streched like crazy the first week specifically the blue dream they went from 13-16" to 19-27 inches on goingAs for the lights as long as there not burning or bleaching I leave as is don't really measure although I did when measuring the plants couple nights ago a noticed some burn at it was 4" didn't notice because they weren't even close to the glass before 12\12 but I would say a good 12-16 inches from glass with no problem they I only let them get about 7" from it before I move it due to bleaching and burning

I did a lot of reading on and off did my homework religiously for about 3 months lol thn decided to jump into it last year with my first little closet set-up with started with CFL,s but preferred T5s but I've always used HPS at 400 watts this is my first time doing anything more than 600 watts,with this much plants,always had around 6-8 plants at all times for mothers and around 6 veg 6 flowering I've had a good 7 harvest so far but my best was about 5 mths ago it in my albums it was some cheese had to chop early tho:/

DAY 9

Hey guys just wanted to post some update pics to show there progress and check out how there just blowing up notice where the stick are in the first pic bout a week ago and the plant past the sticks making it hard to see them lol,also the stick to soil is about 22-26 inchs. loving those dreams and purple diesels are beast, not to impressed with the Og but i know i got the real deal cuz i got the clone from my buddy and i know how it looks also the flowering is about 10-11 weeks purple diesel around 9 , blue dream 8-9 sometimes 10 weeks but usually around 50-60 days.the Ogs looks nice and lush,when i get the time to again ill post some Og.anyway heres the pix

DAY 10
What up guys, just wanted to post some more update pic and i took 1 of the OG i noticed some really minor nute burn so instead of bumbing it up 70-100 nxt week im just going to raise it by 50 so too 450ppm, well first off i am amazed by these blue dream so far its looking like a keeper this plant gets HUGE just hope that the buds are as good as it grows i had to bumb up the lights as well a few plants past the reflector=) yesterday some were about 2" away glass didnt raise it to see how fast it would touch the glass but it passed it in 24 hrs,anyway very satisfied with the BD,PD growth the Og is good nothing crazy,FYI first time with sativa hybrid , maybe thats why im astonished lol i took a pic of the blue dream nxt to a 4 foot t5 to show you guys where there at.

Also starting to spit out alot of nice white long hairs and on the Og you can already see them clustering up getting ready to look like a cola.

What up Rui going I did a Light Feed Saturday of just water and molasses, Im going to feed Nutes On Wednesday Will post Feed specs and update pics, everything has been going good except my timer not working 1 night and had temp in the 90's:/ but all is well some plants got bleach but nothing too crazy any ways everything is coming together lots of white hair everywhere there in some plants that have amber hairs too. BD and PD starting to see a nice lil coat of frost on the leaves the Og kush looks like its going to be very dense and very frosty, smelly piney already

Anyway Been busy but will upload pics in 2 days and have an update also i will start to use gravity as well

Heres some pics at week 2 of Flower lots of white hairs, there still some streching going on plants are OG's are 22-29" tall and the purple diesels and blue dreams at 30-40" purple diesel and Og plants are starting to slow down with there strech, blue dream looks like its going to strech some more.sugar leaves are starting some frost on them.

Couldnt post this up last week, cause i lost my usb and I busy but Im back in this last week was just shitty for me any way hope you enjoy the pics, any way i Feed them the same nute strength except this time I used more of the Bud ratio(tiger bloom) Instead of Half tiger bloom and half grow big,The reason why i stayed the same this time is cause i noticed some nute burn But now i think its due to the snow storm,instead of doing 1/4 tsp per gal im going to do 1/4 per 2 gal.That stuff is pretty strong

What's up RUI, just here doing another update i did a feed tonight , also i found out i gave my plants spider mites by putting a clone i just recently received into my flower room :/ such a rookie move ,,,,,,I should have just waited and kept spraying the clone but i just treated it a couple times and rushed it into the flower room anyway good thing i caught it early and will be working full time on getting that taken car of.

Plants are looking good like i said Og's are getting a nice coat of Tri's and a beautiful piney smell I can tell this is gonna be my most potent plant not to much a yielder but well see i am going to try and weigh each plant individually all 18.

I have a little prob with mites:/ i sprayed last night and got rid of most of them some plants i could'nt find nothing and some just a few eggs when should i spray again i was thinking tomorrow when lights go out?? dont want to spray often cuz i know they do get immune to it. Any1 have experience with the no pest strips?

sorry to hear this man, ive never had problems w/ bugs so really the only advice i can give is try to be cleaner in your g-room, i use bleach on everything in between cycles. what are the conditions of the room. like temp and humidity. i have never used it but i hear there is product called AZAMAX and you have to use it a couple times. once for the adults and then a second time for eggs and babies. it's supposed to work well but it's really spendy. you can always do the dunk method before you introduce plants into your gargen. also you should have been paying more attention to where you got it from . anyway its not the end of the world, try neem oil first if that dont work maybe you have to get some more serious arsenal. good luck bro

you can beat mites with not too much trouble. like akronic said azamax is good for mites, I like it. The directions can be confusing but I use 1 tablespoon, then 1 1/4, then 1 1/2 per gallon, 3 weeks in a row. spray bottoms of leaves with a neem oil/water solution with a dab of soap also. you can also mix a little neem oil in your water when you water your plants. mighty wash is good to knock a population down but only effective for a few days. clean everything in your house. clothes/carpets/etc. pretreat with varying products from now on to prevent. watch out for root aphids! and be glad you don't have russett mites apparently those things are indestructable!

oh and i would vote no on the pest strips. i used them for awhile but I honestly think they gave me nosebleeds from being in the garage and hallway separate from the house. they do work though. i would use them in a room to get it ready for growing, but never with live plants again.

Thanx guys ,for the replies i just wasnt sure if it was ok cause i was already in flowering, and how often do you spray them??? last time was 2 nights ago but in the morning b4 the lights go off i think i ma hit em again. And i do have azmax, I use it with a combo of Einstein neem oil ,SM90(wetting agent), and azmax. after i spray em again when should i repeat?? I am aware they CAN get immune to what ever you give them If you doing it constantly.


I always clean my room real quick between waterings(i water em in the bathroom) sweep and wipe down walls with bleach etc nothing major just real quick while there out of the room not alot of room to move in there. but always do it after a grow. The reason I got em was cause i received a clone from a buddy and sprayed it down with liquid lady bug, something ive used before but i guess it didnt completely get rid of the mites i shoulda never wasted my time on it, i ended up giving it away(treated of course) anyways i put it in my room to see if i can pull a quick 10 grams, a few hours later i see dam mites:/ Good thing i caught it at first stage so im not too worried about It

I heard you should Spray throughly then again 2 days later than again 6 days later? so far im aiming that route , but wanted to know what other methods are used?

do a soil drench once a week with the amounts of azamax I listed. you need to increase the amount each time. spraying will help but you need the roots to uptake the azamax and when the mites eat your leaves they will get some in their system.

oh and rub a nice layer of vaseline at the base of the stem. i believe the mites hatch in the soil and try to crawl up the stem to fuck your leaves up. they will have a hard time walking through the vaseline. mites like it hot and dry, so lower temps and raise humidity a bit and it will slow their life cycle I believe. and make sure you treat all your plants, veg and flower. i've dealt with mites before, and they can be a complete bitch and rob your yield BUT when dealt with correctly you'll be good. I have never had any issues with them since the first time I had them as long as i pretreat. if anyone has any corrections or anything to add, feel free. just trying to give the guy all the relevant info I can.

be careful not to raise your humidity too much, your in bloom and if it gets too high(your humidity will rise at night when the lights turn out) i checked my memory on my hygrometer and this was before we hooked up the dehumidifier but it would get to around 90% at night!!! so just try to find a balance. and in regard to how often, to use the directions should say, but the first dose is to kill the adults then the other treatments are for eggs that will soon hatch and then you just gotta slowly knock them out. look into Liquid Lady Bug, there are vids on the net of it just demolishing mites, but im not sure about using it on edible plants. good luck

Whats up guys,Mite problem is under control it never got out of hand in the first place,but we all know they can get nasty lol, I gave them each 2 cups of water ph6.5, again thanx for any input and joining my grow Also plants are starting to smell alot, Og smells real piney and BD and PD still doesnt really have a strong scent yet but Tri production is booming , I can tell already this will be my best grow. No Major problems everything going smooth for the most part

I have to be out my apt by the middle of May, Hopefully they'll be at there peak by then,
