17/7 inducing flowering??

I've got a couple of clones that have been under a 600w HPS at 17/7 for about 2 weeks now and they are looking real good. Upon close inspection of one of them (BigBud/blueberry) I'm seeing some female wobbly bits starting to show. The other plant (Orange Pez) is vegging as normal.
I was under the impression that a plant needed a solid 12 hours of darkness before any flowers would start. I could bump up the extra hour of light but I didn't think it was necessary. Any thoughts and or suggestions??

That is called pre-sex. I usually veg for 4 weeks then switch to 12/12 for 2 weeks, if needed that long, to show sex sooner. Then throw them back to 18/6 to veg mum's or keep flowering if I want to.

Those clones are as mature as their mum.. so depending on the length of time the mum has been alive will determine the maturity of the clones.
