I hate freaking seeds! Popped a ton of them - When they cost 150 bucks for 10 I get nervous! Some people drop em in a glass of ph correct water. I have used tap and had no problem... Leave them in the water for at least 5 to 10 hours. Some say the seeds that drop have a better chance of making it. Then go the paper towel method to get it to sprout. Keep them in a baggy and keep then in a warm place out of sunlight - not hot...

I baby the shit out of them to make sure I get em all if possible - When the sprout is about an inch long I make a small hole in the soil and then CAREFULLY put it in with the seed part at the top. Don't pick it up with fingers! - use a fork or something. Then I take a leaf to give the exposed seed some shade so it doesn't get cooked since it will want to jump up. If it starts growing so fast it wants to fall over - bury the tiny stem some to keep it upright. Hve fun!

so you dont bury them in the soil? you just use a leaf to cover the exposed seed once a tap root is formed and they are placed in the growing medium?

That is the way "I" do it... Just something I came up with a few years ago. What I found is too many times my seeds would be sitting in the medium doing nothing... Some of that has to do with the soil and room temp, moisture... If too cool - it's a slower go...

Since going with putting the seed right at ground level - with a little shade for a few days - then uncover when you can see the seed taking off and getting tiny green coming on...

One other thing I do is "carefully" take the freaking seed casing off the sprout if it doesn't shed it in a day or so... Sometimes the seed case won't let go which prevents the sprout from getting light - so it sits stupid for days sometimes... Yeah - I know - I baby the shit out of them....

I also mend broken plants with honey... Some say to just tape the broken plant back together... Something fell on a 3 foot plant one time and broke it in half. Hit that lady with honey and taped it up - Didn't stunt very much and bounced back fine.

cannabis likes to be pre germinated before planting...dont just put it in the ground... Im not saying putting it in the ground WONT work but imo if you want the best result possible...
