180w UFO LED

Considering buying this lamp, but it can grow a few plants or whatever .. might have the only 4250 lumens, but lumens of LED is probably also different than cfl ..
please help someone, this part lamp worth the money?

If I where you, I'd spend about 20 more bucks an get a viper 300w LED, that's what I'm currently using, an my plant has turned to a monster!, I got sugar leaves before I had buds forming, an I think the draw is between 180-200+-3w if you feel you need more light CFL's are good 2

You can build your own array for around $1/w if you go the path of using the cree CXA 3070's. There is a pretty active thread going on right now. If you have basic DIY skills it should be pretty easy depending on how hard it is for you to source parts. Basically, all you will need is the LED chip (digikey or mouser), a 50w LED driver (few decent units on ebay for a very good price), a CPU heatsink/fan combo and some wires. Check out the thread and don't be discouraged by some of the rather complicated calculations and ideas being bounced around. The basics are all you need.

I promise you that it will kick the crap out of that UFO for roughly the same price. And the best part is, if you want more light, you can build more quite easily.
