1st CFL Hempy Grow

I've read a lot about the hempy buckets and have decided to give that method a whirl since it seems much easier than soil. I'm going to be using 5G buckets with nothing but perlite (since I have read that it can be done). I'm starting the seeds in rockwool blocks and will be using GH 3 part Flora (Micro, Grow, Bloom).

Any tips or advice on doing a hempy with CFL's? Do I follow the normal instructions? I've heard that with the nutrients I want to scale them back some because the plants can't handle full strength with CFL's. Is that true? Has anyone done a hempy in straight perlite with CFL?

Also, I'm new with the GH nutes... Am I assuming correctly that I start off with the micro, then move to the grow, and then the bloom? I've read the bottles but am still a little confused.

Growing with just pearlite actually sounds harder than growing with soil. Because with soil you don't have to supply nutrients, just water with fert every now and then. Also plant's can handle the nutes as long as they have the sufficient lumens to convert it to growth. I used 165w of CFL's for my first grow (which was hydro) and used the max recommended nutes per gal. I think I was using Fox Farm.

check out the grows in my signature, im sure they can help you out a bit. General outline, LST all the way. my pics will explain. I dont know how experienced of a grower you are (so excuse me if you already know) just make sure to check up on the PH of your water so you dont get nute lock out and theres really not much else to it. Keep reading and researching.... AND BE PATIENT!!!!!!! Im glad to help if you need.
