1st grow attempt

Trying to scrog but not sure how many times to super crop it. I think i want to bloom it soon but im not sure.. its my first grow so im taking it day by day. Any tips or advice would be awesome. Or even just share some pictures?!

Personally, I'd keep em in veg for a couple more weeks to try and fill up that screen some more. Then again, I'm on my 1st grow in 25 yrs so...

How old are they now?

you must keep in mind they will more than double in size during the first 2-3 weeks after changing the light cycle to 12/12 (the stretch).

Take a look at the links in my sig to see my scrogs, they have weekly photos so you can see what it looked like when i flipped the lighting and what it did after.
and i am relatively new at this also.

I got them at 12" tall and ive vegged now for 3 weeks. Im in tuper coco gold also. I was thinking the same thing veg another 2 weeks or so.

@HarveyHarvester brings up a very good point about stretch at flip that I hadn't considered. I guess the question is would switching to flower now and continuing to tuck during the stretch be the better option? It would definitely bring harvest that much closer. I'd likely still wait a bit and see how they look in another week and re-examine options. This is partly why I went with auto's for my 1st run. Less decision making and more watching what they do. lol

Looks like that will be filled out nicely soon.

what is the thinking with a second screen?
I actually had a dream about that, one of the rare ones i remember when i wake up but i could not figure out why i would want to do that.

looks like u need to veg a couple weeks longer to fill up your space a little more in your netting then start blooming

My thinking was just for support when i switch to budding. Primary net for the main scrog then use the other net just as support for the weight. I honestly have no idea what im doing but it seamed like a good idea.

Should i keep super cropping or should i just let it go on its own at this point? Idk if it matters but i have 2 300w led lights 600w total.

I dont really have any height limitation. I have a 4x4x8 tent so stretch isnt a big deal.

i think let your tops get to your second layer of scrog and lower ones into your first layer then flower will take couple weeks

I think if you train the tops to grow between the two screens during the stretch, just moving the growth tips from hole to hole in the top screen as it grows it will...
hell, we do that anyway... i dunno man. just can't wrap my head around a use for it. just in the way imo but it can't hurt and can always be cut out if it don't seem to be helping.
