The clone needed to be dipped in rooting gel, and in a humidity dome (tupperware, rubbermaid, zip lock bag, etc) for about 2 weeks. You cut all lower leaves off and leave the top. Also needs light to be 18-6 or 24 hours.

Other than that the lady looks great.
She was dipped in rooting gel and in a humidity dome, just not for two weeks. Getting her was more of just a last ditch effort to salvage something when I messed her up, didn't expect her to take or anything, was just gonna appreciate the clone if she does decide to stay alive :)

Edit: I also would have put her into veg rather than flowering if I had the room to do so :? my next grow I plan on adding more room so I will be able to clone and everything properly.

Wow, 45 days into flowering already, time seems to be going so slow yet so fast at the same time!

Got some pictures and a little bit of updates for you guys. She is doing well still, I think the flush then full feeding really helped her, haven't been picking up too many dead leaves lately but still seeing a lot of new growth on her buds so I know she is eating.

Her buds are beginning to swell, as I've said before and I am so excited, she is really starting to take form with her buds and is continuing to surprise me. Sugar leaf areas are still more leaf than pistils, but I can see some pistils still trying to work their way out and fatten up more. Going to flush her again in a couple of days, then she'll have one last meal before her final flushing and chopping.

WP_000352.jpg This is a shot of where I took my clone from, the lower branch has turned into a "topped" branch and has two buds where I cut her, as you can see.

Take a look through the rest of the pictures, normal bud shots and glamour shots so you guys can see how she has come along the last couple of days.

Haha I honestly don't know how I did this, just got lucky I guess. She has been doing most of the work, I just stare at her and feed her when she tells me to :) I wish I would have LSTd her earlier, but she still did well for when I did LST her. She has been the perfect first plant for me, gives me tons of confidence going into my next grow once I chop her, lets just hope my next plants aren't little brats.

I sure did a lot of research. I am the kind of person that likes to research before I jump into something, just so I don't completely mess things up. I think the best advice I got was, "it's a weed, it'll grow on it's own" haha, so that's the attitude I took into this grow. Being my first grow I made sure to not get my hopes up and wanted to more than anything just get a grow under my belt and be able to learn from it, didn't want to try anything too advanced and just wanted to get a feel for how these plants grow.

She's taught me a lot as well as many of the RIU members on here. My hope is that as I continue to grow I can help someone else out, directly or indirectly, just like I got helped out here.

Well, I am VERY happy with the strain, I am completely serious when I tell you guys I wish I could tell you the strain name so you could grow it, I swear this strain would survive a nuclear attack.

Last week when I was turning my main girl a few of her tougher leafs knocked over the cup that her clone is in and dumped her on her head, spilling all of the dirt she was in, and even breaking the couple of bigger roots that :( I put her back in the cup, gave her some new dirt and hoped she would recoup, but expecting her to die. Her leaves started to get yellow spots and the tips of some of her "big" fan leafs were starting to curl at the tip and brown.

I noticed yesterday that she was actually looking very perky and not droopy at all, though with yellowing leaves still and the curling leafs, still didn't expect anything. But today when I checked on my girls, I noticed that a lot of her yellowing had faded, and the curls in her leaf tips had actually uncurled over night and she is looking lik she is starting to get her legs back under her!

I am very excited for this and hope she continues to recover from my abuse (I really need to stop gardening while high haha) and I have plans for her! I plan on chopping my girl in the next couple of weeks, and then since I will have more room for the clone I want to put her back into 18/6 and veg her bigger so that I don't have to start from seed again and hope for a female.

That being said, since she has been in 12/12 for a bit now would turning her back to 18/6 in a couple of weeks shock her too much? Even though she is in 12/12 she hasn't been showing any new pistils, and all the pistils she did have are virtually gone now. If she starts to bloom and growing nicely then I am just going to keep her in 12/12 and let her finish, but if I can I would like to put her back into veg once I have the space and grow her out more so I can get a higher yield from her.

Alright, sorry guys, I took off for the weekend with the old lady so I haven't seen my girl since Thursday! I am excited for this update, it's almost harvest time! Going to get the pictures up on here and everything so hold tight, it won't be too long.

Alright guys, finally an update for you on my precious girl. This is day 52 since she first showed her pistils so I am getting pretty close to harvest time, let me know how much longer you think I should go.

When I got back from our mini-vacation the first thing that I noticed was how much my clone has grown, a bit stunted and purple but none the less she is growing and I am thinking I am going to put her outside quite soon.

My main girl "Mary" is starting fill in quite nicely and she is still producing new pistils. Very crystally and smells great! She has her citrus smell and is really starting to get that "weed" smell as well, you all know that smell ;) Lots of colors to look at as well.

Rest of the pictures are some shots of her buds swelling up and filling in, as well as some zoomed out shots to show you guys the size of them too. Threw in some bud porn for you guys to show off her crystals and to let you guys judge to see how close she is.
