I stick to the 26w and under, when the amount of watts for cfl's reach above 250 you might as well get a hps
I was just talking to a guy who used 4 of the 65 watters for one plant and said he couldnt believe the results. Plus, they are still alot cooler the HPS. Especially for rooms that are smaller with limited ventilation for heat issues.

Thanks man. Just like I always say, its always reassuring to here your doing a good job. Anyways I actually changed my flower lights. I am still using CFLs but instead of 5 26w I now have 1 55w 2700k, 2 42w 2700k and 2 26w (2700k and 6500k). Very basic man.

basic but effective, that's the beauty of it. That's a lot of wattage in cfls but u have the advantage of puttn em anywhere. How tall is it? Could u compare those bud sizes to something household for me cause they look HUGE or I'm stoned?keep up the good work. Will u be posting weight at the end?

Yes very effective. I just tried to keep it simple and these are my results so far. She is about 16 inches above soil. I will take some more pics for you today so you can get a general idea of how big they are. The top cola is about the exact size of a big prescription bottle. The little ones are about the size of my thumb so not too big. All real dense though. Super surprised on how well CFLs actually worked.

Yield per watt sucks, a measly .36g/watt. 184 grams off 4 plants with MG soil and nutes under a mixture of cfl and t8 tubes totaling 513watts. Vegged for 4 weeks from rooted clone and flowered 8 1/2 weeks. This is the White Widow however my heaviest yielder was the Trainwreck. i'll look for pics of that one when i get back home.

Those look great man. I have a problem we can probably discuss here. I repotted my plants and like a complete idiot, forgot to label before I moved them. So I have either 2 Auroura Indicas, or 2 White Widows, or 1 of each. Anyone know an easy way to identify which is which? I can't really tell by size or bushiness or anything like that right now. Would posting pics help?

Posting pics would definitely help. If I were you, I would search those strains and compare your plants with others that have grown them. You should be able to tell once it start to develop its "true" leaves.

Looks amazing man! +rep to a great fucking job. When you hung them did you have them in any specific room or just hanging in a closet? Also, how did you go about your last couple weeks? Traditional flush, drowning, etc...

Hung 'em in a small closet and just ventilated it twice a day by opening and closing the door repeatedly.

i cut my nutes in 1/2 in the second to last week and then flushed heavy for the last week with just water. Didn't get all the nutes out though b/c i had tie-release soil :(. Lesson learned.

When you say heavy do you mean like twice your pot size? Or just more then what you were watering every few days?
