Baggers havent cracked the surface of the jiffy cube. (the were germenated before i placed them in the plug)

**Note**

I have assisted on other soil grows in the past , but this is my very own, and i decided to go hydro for the growth & yield.

Cool man! looks like you got some prime gear, should be a cinch. What does a 20lbs. co2 setup cost these days, I need one?

my goal is to achieve an above average first grow.
Knowledge is power, i figure if i follow a plan and control climate, nutes, etc., then i should be well on my way...

Yeah man, I'm on my first grow and I am Very happy with results thus far. I will agree that knowledge is power, and the more you know, the better the results. I retain better if I "do" instead of read; so I read, as I "do"...

You might want to grow a shitty seed in a cup to see the process if you don't know exactly how a plant grows, seeing it has been invaluable.

i am familiar with the process, unfortunately i never dedicated the time, discipline, and $$$ to make it happen.

** STATUS**

tHe girls are looking good, one of the bagseeds has begun to break the surface as well.
I inspected the jiffy pods and noticed significant root growth.

I want them to grow a bit before i hit them with the MH.
They are currently enjoying a t5 for 24/7

The skunks did strech quite a bit, so i lowered the T5 as much as possible.
about 3" from light now.

I also added some air thru a 6" clip-on while the humity dome is off (CO2) lol.

i open the dome every couple hours to mist or to circulate some air.

**Questions or comments are always welcome and encouraged **

currently in week # 5 of flowering..

The skunks were all male and 1 hermie...
i got 3 big bud females, and two "candy" bagseed females...

i was late on the switching to flower, so they grew about 3 feet, i had to bend them over and try a last minute SCROG..

I like it..i will definetly do the SCROG for my next attempt....

Nice!!! I haven't been here much, but it sounds like you've got it handled thus far.

3 feet is a decent size. did you top the plant during the veg cycle?

negative..no topping.i was not intending to do a scrog, but i most definetly tried to do use a method such as topping or fiming to generate the canopy required for the scrog.

i cant wait to do it all over again..lol
