1st grow HPS or CFL?

this is my first grow im currently debateing on what to get i get around 100-250$ a weeek . . . . i cant get anytthing big due to were im staying at the moment but i can do a okay size CFL Cabinet grow . Or i can do a Small grow tent 150w HPS grow . i dont knoe which one to do and how muchh it will cost me . ? any tips will be great . thankxx (

if you wanna stay cheap do a 150 w hps with cfl side lighting in the back of a closet. idk what you have for space

the max i can get is like a 2x2x4 . . & it has to be kinda stealthy .
& Thats what i was thinking but idk anything about making a right box for a HPS like ventalation etc etc and what i need

thats why i went cfl. im running 474 watts of cfl in a ghetto made box thats 2x2x3.

i have a grow thread gowing in the cfl section. it should be on the first page. its going good right now. i have 6 females but they just showed sex. whats the size of the cab in the pic?

its 11 1/2in L 26 1/2in H 18in D

you could look into topping and lst. just grow one med plant. or 12-12 from seed could work

Truee , but im a heavy smoker and i dont think its big enoughh .
should i just get plywood and build my own , order some pc fans . get nuets , some bag seeds , and i dont knoe about my lighting i knoe im going cfl but i dont knoe how to make the fixtures to have all the lights in the box D;

if you want to grow enough to keep you stocked then perpetual will have to be done. now your talking multipe hps due to high plant number. you would have to harvest every few weeks.

theres many ways to hang them. are you electrical friendly. if so look up diy cfl hoods. they have alot of people using pvc to make them, or buying 3-5 bulb vanity fixtures from lowes/home depot. if you cant wire, then its the ghetto way ( my way haha)

i dont neeed to be stocked 24/7 but some free weed every now and then is fine with me (;

hey im glad to help. ill post some pics on here tomorrow to show you how my box is in detail. i spent mayhe 30 on supplies to get it this way. not counting the bulbs
