1st Grow.. pix

Hello everyone. This is my first post but Ive used this site for research for months now and Im ready to show ya'll how its going.. I do have a valid medical card but bear with me cause this is my first grow. Im not sure of the strain but its female. The leaves are as big as my hands. I topped it but both main steams that grew from that actually became over grown. Forcing me to cut them both down because they would have easily been seen over my wall.. I then tied down all the big branches remaining to prevent it from reaching that height again and to give those little lower branches a fighting chance. Im not too sure if it showing preflower or not but there is tons of orange and white hairs.. Leaf hoppers have been a problem from day one, but are they even really harmful other then pigging out on the fan leaves? It receives full sun from 11 to 7 now an the sprinkler come on at 5am and 5 pm for a few mins daily. Im hoping for a bit of good smoke this fall, what do you guys think? Id love some input.. Use neem oil to get rid of your grasshoppers it worked for me

And your plants don't even look like their getting close to the top of the wall.... But good job tho on your first grow

Its nowhere near as tall as it WAS... It actually is a 3rd of the height but after cutting and tie'n it down. Its 2x as wide.. Ill try to find some Neem oil tonight at lowes.. Thanks for the input tho.Any idea when this thing will go into full flower in soCal?

It's looking good, seems like a great growing spot. One thing though, if you have a valid medical card why do you need to keep them from being seen? I live in Illinois and we don't have a medical cannabis policy so I'm not to familiar with it, but aren't you allowed to grow a few plants? Or does that take some other type of license?

Where I live, people notice everything in sight during the day and are likely to snatch it at night.. It happen to my buddy and he didnt even have buds yet either.. Better safe then sorry.. The license is more for peace of mind. I plan on starting a 4 plant indoor grow this fall

That was my goal when I laid everything out.. Ive had family in the yard for a bbq and very few realized.

Heres a few pix of how its lookin today. Im pickin an squashin lil white caterpillars here an there on my buds every morning.. Im gonna grab a spray to fight em off tonight befor it gets worse. Ive been watering with molasses and ff tiger bloom since first sings of flowering.. Its sprouted suger leaves and buds with white hairs all over the plant.. Im sure this is week five, an cant wait to see the buds swell. One problem I need some advice on is, one of my dogs was shedding and walked passed my plant while we were rompin around. Now theres white dog hair stuck to a few buds and picking it out seems to spread it.. Any ideas? I dont have a balloon to rub on myself but Im gonna search around the house.. Oh yeah, the camera in my phone sux but Ill use my girls real deal joint next time to pick up more details..

thats not 5 weeks. 2 weeks tops, u probably started counting rite when u saw pistils. they look good tho

Thanks.. Its actually jus one plant lst'd.. I did start counting weeks at first sight of little fuzzy preflowering between the nodes. As well as start flowering nutes at that time.. I jus bought some Bayer Advanced Natria insecticide soap to fight off the bud worms.. Has anyone tried using this spray? I kno BT is the right one to have but couldnt fine it..

Heres how shes lookin this morning. I finally found the Safer brand with BT, so all is well. It seems to be getting a bit thicker but Im still awaiting the big swell. Ill also be gettin a 30x loop soon so I can harvest at the right time. Hopefully I get ahold of a decent camera too, to take the final pix.

Im about 6 weeks into flowering so flushing will start this week. The day of rain we had here in socal didnt harm her at all.. The buds seem to be putting on some weight because most of em are leaning now. But all are lookin great!.. I can hardly wait..
