1st indoor grow

Hello all!

Im new to RIU but have been obsorbing the information on here for the past few weeks. Ive started my first indoor grow 5 fem big bang seeds, 5 fem alaskan ice seeds all of which have been germinated and all popped out of the soil this morning. my room is a bedroom ive sectioned off to a rough 9x9 area with 7 ft ceilings. due to budget i only am using a 1000w hps light but also am thinking of using some uvb producing lights during flowering, has anyboday experimented with these? anywho ive seperated the room with the white reflective plastic found at the hydro store. ive got a carbon filter hooked up to the exhaust of a portable airconditioner (which controls temp and humidity) then sent to the dryer exhaust as the room is in the basement. I will be growing in soil and using nothing but organics. the seedlings are currently under cfl 24/0 in about 2 weeks ill switch th 16/8. i will be using 5 gallon pots. pictures will be coming soon any suggestions would be appreciated!

its been about 5 days since they have sprouted i have had some stretching issues so the light is now like 1/2 an inch away from the plants. 1 of the seedlings is now over 4 inches but like i said they stretched. one of the big bang seedlings seems to be dying its not growing and seems to be shrinking while the other 8 plants are growing nice. i about a week i will transplant and take them away from the fluoro and put them under the hps

long time since ive updated. 1 big bang died at seedling stage but i got a mighty mite clone to replace it. plant hight ranges between 9-25 inches the alaskans seem to growing alot quicker as the big bang does not react well to nutes and grows slower. i switched to 12/12 today i hate veg its the worst part to me watching the fruit grow is the second best part next to smokn

plants are now over 5 weeks 12/12. the mighty mite looks like she'll be done within the next 2 weeks. im very impresed with the big bang in flower very strong helthy plant with big buds. my avatar pic is day 31 flower of the big bang. the alaskan ice however arent producing as much bud but the plants are HUGE. i mean i had to tie them cause like 4 out of the 5 alaskan girls are easily 6ft tall but they look like they are the slowest in flower.
