Holy shit that took forever! I cant believe nobody asked why she wasn't flowering them yet way back in the beginning. Its you usually a good idea to flower as soon as they reach 12 inches. especially if you will be growing so much so often. I like to flower as soon as I can some times. You end up with very compact potent little beauties. GReat job KIKi on your first grow!!!! Well done! You live and you learn only to keep getting better.
yes merryjane - I was an idiot - and didn't know better - live and learn right!

Gorgeous! Oh and smart move with the gloves. The shit can get sticky!
yes - between the gloves, olive oil, and 420 cleaner, I manage to keep the resin off.

Big ups yerself, Kiki. These look insane... Sorry to hear 'bout your the hubby, tho. Hospitals are the pits :( Hope you're all doing better now. :peace:
thanks bobo... all is well now, we are home - sometimes he just goes "downhill" and we have to take him in for IV meds. but it's going to be okay!

that peppery thing is the closest i can get to describing the "old skool haze" taste. hopefully the SSH will have the similar ping and u will know what i mean. my lemon cut is beautiful once cured but you can smoke it as soon as its dry, the more u cure the more the flavor comes out. its really lemony on the inhale then a peppery lemony exhale, one of the best tasting i've ever sampled and i have been to Dam for a weekend lmao ;)

okay - so I had a f**king fit tonight.... I went to one of my flowering tents.... checked inside, and found this beast in the middle of 16 other females!! ON day 14 of flowering.

Unbelievable - HE'S a greenhouse Feminized Church seed!! yes HE is.... Let's just say I hope none of my females got pollenated.

I took him out - checked all my other girls.... but it will be a couple days before I really know anything. Live and learn - feminized is not 100%~
Well I would say there are a few possibilities with this.
1/ cross contamination when they were making the church seeds with a regular male (so possibly an unknown cross with church and something else)
2/ hermaphroditus extremus, lol. I have had what looks like a male plant through and through push out female flowers several weeks into flowering. It would have been interesting to see if it done that. If so I would have chucked it as the seeds will cause no end of problems.

Ideally you would want number 1, and the only way to find out would be to cross som e pollen with the Church to find out if it produces some regular males and females.

Please take into account that the companies from Holland that sell seeds also buy their seed product off growers just like you and me. When growing underground and not having laboratory conditions, you will always get the odd cross contamination. However I think this is a nice natural way of moving genetics around and creating crosses.

I sat in Barneys Uptown with my business partner one lunch time a few years back and heard the owner crapping on these two guys about their seed quality....was quite funny.

Congratulations on the harvest Kiki, great job, will be the best smoke you have ever had and it will just keep getting better!!!

All my best wishes to you and yours, Peace, DST

Ahhh I can sympathize with how awesome your drying room must smell right now! Great job again kiki, your lemon looks sort of similar to mine did when I harvested.

And like DST said, you've got an unbelievable smoke to look forward to!

@DST - I'm too much of a newbie grower to be messing with pollenating.... and crossing - It's everything I can do just to keep a perpetual grow going, and of course cloning.... but i do believe you are right. I'm just not the right person to attempt that right now. Thanks for stopping by - always good to hear what a vet like you has to say. 8-)

@WOW - It smells awesome - and I have so many different strains right now - drying and in the tents... so it's just crazy!

~KikiHope your husband is resting at home now.
@GG - he is - since Friday night. Thanks GG
