haha that was quick, did u notice my edit?

thanks :) i'm sure u will work it out mate, use this one as ur learning curve and always try and better urself. not that u did to badly this time, everything nice and healthy :) cant wait for some bud p0rn lmao
no LAS - I didn't get the edit.. and yes San Francisco Pacific Standard Time is appropriate. Thanks for the encouragement... and YES it is my goal to learn from my mistakes, not make the same mistake twice, and do it better everytime. I think with ganja that's the way you have to be - and it is one hell of a learning curve with just the growing and nute aspect of it... then I had to ballsy and go pull 50 clones on Christmas Eve... OMGoodness.... what and odyssey!!

Stay tuned my UK brother.

okay guys... good news = Kiki can clone!! Thank goodness.... bad news is I don't know all the way what I'm doing with clones... so my question is...what's a "ROOTED" clone...? How rooted is rooted.... obviously the ones in the pics are rooted... and are going into soil, but how many roots need to be sticking out..? is ONE enough to put the rockwool into soil??

Thanks

I like to see about 7 roots at least before I set them in soil. Once they start to root, POW they root out in no time, like 1-3 days.

I like to wait until i see a couple shoots then wait another 2-4 days after than then transplant. i want it to be pretty much established and ready for me to push it in whatever medium i choose. congrats on the first cloning

thats my Vanilla K clone, i would usually give it another 4days after seeing roots like below. but thats just me(sorry it's kinda blurry)

okay GG - so don't put this one in soil yet.... right?
not at all, you want roots coming out of the sides and or bottom of the cube. try not to pry open the rockwool like that. it messes up the air to water ratio they say. that one has a while to go before ready for transplant

If there is roots in a medium it is technically rooted! Great looking clones with little yellowing=] very nice
Thanks NEWB.... I'm such a novice newbie myself.... i appreciate the good comments.

WBW - good old fashion CLONEX rooting gel. I did it like a cheap ho!

yes GG - 4x8 here Thursday, and if all goes well, another 4x8 will be behind it.

Thanks MANE.... so it looks like some of these are going to be a few days staggered here and there...... i think i understand now guys...

Thanks to all of you for responding... I came home from work, lifted the humidity dome and bam! there was special queen with roots sticking out of her rockwool. I know all these clones are girls because all of their moms are in the flowering tent 12 days into flower with pistils everywhere.... so i'm pretty stoked about that.

Peace out guys.... will show everything else on Friday!

Grats on the clones~

10-11 days to root is pretty nice turn-around. I hear soaking the cubes in 1/4 strength bloom nutes overnight pH'd to 5.5 aids in rooting. The higher level of Phosphorous is what does it.

Here's a good watch through for weed geeks:

nice set of nails, errr, i mean clones lmao gotta love a french manicure lol ;) they look really healthy (the clones), my mate could take a few notes out of ur book...

i normaly wait until a root or 2 is poking out the side of the medium. my mate also ripps the medium apart to see how they are doing, i just leave em to it, if ur conditions are about right then they will root :)

hey kiki the clone looked good & at this point you could advance it but i would wait just a bit longer i usualy use root-riot & put a toothpick in it for a handle [ i buy the multi colored party toothpics to color code when i have more than 1 strain] i go back & forth between those root riot plugs & the rockwool ones i leave the plastic on the r/w & label them with a marksalot[sharpie] i use both clonex [gel] & schultz powder [wal-mart] both give me roots in about 9 days i always mark them cause i have crs[cant renember shit] these days
