What month should i start growing?

January 1st, that way you always know how old your grow is.

Yeah, if you start too early it will just start flowering. Need to know where you live.

Jan 1st is pretty sage advice. If you don't have lights, prob wait till feb to start inside, then put out in march after all the frost is done. If you do have lights, then jan 1 will prob make for some damn good sized plants. Either way, you don't want em outside if the temp is gonna be in the 30's.
