hello forum, this is my first post.

I have been studying growing for over 2 years now, i always wanted to start growing sooner but something always came up.

ok, if i could get some help that would be great.

I have a 8ft by 6ft space, but i dont know what kind of setup to use. I have been thinking about building an ebb and flow hydro system but i have also been considering SOG.

I was wondering if someone could tell me what would be best to set up(even if its something different than ebb flow/SOG), and about how many plants would be good for that space. and whatever other info that you could give me.
I have around $1000 to $1500 to spend, but i would rather spend less.

As this is your first grow I would try soil growing first. It is much more forgiving of mistakes. Good indoor growing is accomplished in the planning phase. With that said, you have been reading for some time now and need to pick a style of growing that best fits your space and time commitment. You also have to decide if you will grow from seed or clone from mother plants. If cloning, you will need to separate an area for vegetative growth and flowering. You need to plan for good ventilation, humidity and temperature control as well as odor control. There are many other factors such as PH and which nutrients to use as well as containers and growing medium. Good luck with your grow.
