I have a 5x10x6.7 ft tent approx.

I have currently 6 sprouted seedlings under a mh light 2 came in after the first 4 due to taking longer in the rapid rooter.

I wateredall the plants once transplanting the plug it started in from the rapid rooter into party cups.

I have a friend coming over hopefully asap so we can cut a hole in the ceiling to route the cleaned air the filter cycles out of the tent after its cleaned and blown thru my light hoods into the ceiling along with the hot air from my portable a/c unit. Originally i had a/c in tent and now i have a/c in the room outside of the tent facing the fresh air intake duct to feed the tent nice cool air. We have the a/c set on 75 upstairs at all time now.

1 8" vortex fan attached to can 66 filter sucking air thru filter then blowing it thru light hoods and out the tent.

then i have a 6 " vortex on outside of tent bring fresh air in from the room the tent lays in and blowing that in the top right corner of the tent.

I main concern is watering and knowing what is dry and what is moist. these seeds im practicing with were all bag seed and free..

i Have 5 california dream 5 blue mystic and 5 jock horror on the way all females seeds.

I hope to know what im doing with these before going to the good stuff...

i drilled probly 7-8 holes with a little drill bit in various spots on the red party cups i transplanted the plugs from rapid rooter into..

i mixed a bit of perilite and ffof soil in the cups before transplanting.

i got some superthrive from the hydro store and am thinking of using that on a select few seeds once they arrive to see the difference in root growth possibly :).

Let me go take pics and post them right away. ALL input i can get is great. especially from people with experience.

I plan to run the propane burner lp5 i got to generate co2 once that hole is cut and ducting of hot/warm/cleaned air is all vented out of the room sucking in nice fresh cold air :) to hopefullly make things ideal.

Ok I got the ducting now done to get the hot air and the cleaned air vented thru the tent into the ceiling.. and the ac is now out of the tent blowing cool air into the room. im leaving the door shut to get that room cooled off. I guess I am going to wait to water the plants either in the morning. if they are dry then otherwise will do it tomorrow evening.

If i were to get some clones can anyone tell me what I would do differently when putting them in the tent than the seedlings have been treated? thanks.

the filter is way to heavy to hang on the top. if you can tell me how i can possilby do that ok. but isn't it ok having it where its at now? It will be fine leaving it wont it?! that fucker is wayyyy to heavy for the tent.

I added an oscillating fan in the corner earlier to help circulate air inside the tent now that the ac unit is outside the tent helping cool the room the tent is in.. i think imma get another fan put in there on the bottom so the air circulates there as well by the plants to make them kinda move/dance however u wanna look at it.

What he is trying to say is have your exhaust up top and your intake on the bottom. And also suck air through your light don't push it through. You'll be using it alot more efficentally.

OK so i got a few pics to show how the room air gets ducted around a bit after getting the hot air and cleaned air ducted to the ceilling... I also watered the first 4 babies today that were really dry. Id say since I watered the first 4 on Wednesday evening that this would mean like 2.5 days between watering so far. THe soil seemed more much dry this morning than it did "last nite" so I think they were ready for some water.

Here are the pics.. Oh I also added superthive about 4 drops to a 32 oz contrainer. the 32oz container fed all 4 plants this time. the first time i thought that it took 2 of those but anyways. I tested the PH OF the run off water today after feeding and it came back perfectly colored :) to my little tester legend :) nice yellowish greenish

Now would be a good time to. Water them and then transplant into your pots. Bury almost to the cotlydons (sp). They are looking good, how long you planning on vegging them?

I wasnt too sure I figured another 1.5-2 weeks from this point or so.. I just put them into those 3 gallon buckets.. man i wasnt prepared drilled holes LOTS of them with a rather small bit lots i mean TONS of holes lol anyways .. they are in there i fed them about a gallon each of water that seemed to saturate the soil pretty decently. Will cehck on them and take pics tomorrow. Thanks for the advice. I also mixed in .5 teaspoon of grow big to each gallon it recommends 1 tsp so i did half ... next soil mix i wanna use light warrior and ocean forest. ive read good things on that.

ok update I transplanted into 3 gallon pots. fed them about a gallon each plant with 1/2 teaspoon of grow big . They seem to be doing ok almost a day later.. maybe 3/4 of day later but ya. ok so i figured if they do ok once dry again ill feed them regular water then hit them with the full dose of 1 teaspon as recommended. I wanna tie them down I believe its called LST? not too sure when to start that and I was wondering if I should cut any branches off or when im supposed to if at all. thanks!

Looking looking good. Hey I use Roots Organics Soil, its got everything that fox farm has in it and its a lighter weight and more airy. Saving you from buying two to make one ya know. As for the LST naw wait a bit they are still to small. BTW LST stands for Low Stress Training. You should top two of the plants and leave two untopped just to see. Wait till they get to about the 4th node and then top it. This will keep them from getting huge and also it gives them time to mature while staying small. I'm waiting on the edge of my seat for my check to arrive so I can pick up my freaking grow tent!!!!!!!!
