1st time grow...sativas such big...wow

Hello all!
I would like some ideas on what will be the best way to proceed with my small grow. I have 2 Super lemon haze plants, one is 70cm and the other is 30 (planted them at diff times), that i have been keeping in my window to veg thsfar (live on the 7th floor in South germany so not really afraid of someone seeing them and i live alone). I recently bought a 1.2mX1.2mX2m grow box with a 600w HPS and wanted to start flowering but just saw how massive these plants get at the end...OMG! and it was with a 15cm clone.
I was thinking of Lst or SoG but the big one is already quite big and i don't want a 4m plant in 11 weeks. I was thinking of tying the big one down in a spiral pattern to get the SoG effect and keep the little on just hanging out on my window till the big ones finished. This is my first grow but i have done a lot of research when i signed up 4 years go but have since forgot some things.

do you mean top the 70cm plant down to 30 and use the cut of plant as clones? i don't really want to have more then 4-5 plants at a time tho

No I mean take the tops off. if you bush em out they don't like to stretch

Yep like Quizo said you can top them or LST. If you have questions about topping just do a Youtube seach for "marijuana topping" and watch a few tutorials. It's pretty straight forward and simple.

I always top my plants twice that I grow from seed, but I prefer to LST my clones. I just lay them over and tie them down in early veg and let the side branches grow up. In fact i'm currently in the process of doing that right now for my new batch of clones. They rooted around April 1st and already have 5 nice tops growing up beyond the main stem. I love me some Coco!

thanks guys for the ideas and help. I think i will LST the big one and throw it into flower asap. I don't wanna shock the plant while also making it go into flowering. Tho i will top the smaller one tomorrow. I should have been taking pics and made a newwb grow journal...

could just try bend that shit down under a scrog , flower it off and reveg into a more even cannopy next time by topping etc.

my favorite is a true Mexican sour, creator obviously of all the sour strains, finish about 16weeks. some are really garlicy, those are my favorite. give you a runny nose and eyes water while trimming

wow ! sounds fantastic. 16 weeks ! wow your patient. i look forwrd to seeing these loads.

I've found Super Lemon Haze to be a bit more difficult (yet rewarding) to LST than other strains, especially sativa strains. SLH tends to have super sturdy branches and sometimes requires daily maintenance (for me) through veg to keep those branches tame since they get hard fast , depending on how much control you want. If you get it training early enough (soon after topping or fimming), they are a great strain for a sexy LST or scrog. I also usually top or film mine twice during early veg.

I agree with casper, it's a little late to bend her much now. I personally would take the top 3 nodes off, veg until the 2 new mains establish a little, a wk maybe a little more. Un-topped the SLH will easily double in height during stretch. Topping helps reduce stretch when going into flower.
