Im running a 1000 watt switchable with cooling vent. I have an outdoor Humbolt County, Another unknown Tall plant strain (stem grows purple, lots of space in-between stem nodes), and 2 kush strains. As you can imagine using one light for all these strains is insane and yes it seems to be but I really want to find out what they all are before i specialize to either short or tall. For cloning I am using Large plastic containers bought from home depot one 7" high 8" x 36" ish, the other 12" high 8" x 30ish. I soak with ph balance, and dip into a root simulator, I then spray once or twice a day, morning and evening, they are air tight. I get about 80% success rate. but the other day I spotted in the farthest corner a clone covered in web. I immediately removed this clone, scrubbed and sanitized the container and placed the other clones back in the container. Is this spider mites? I have not noticed any web on any plants anywhere. I do have one plant which i photographed, the leaves just wont green up anywhere on the plant, the leaves on the bottom of the plant have brown spots yellow leaves, I just cut them off the plant so the leaf is not shown, but it was several., nutes, spiders... not sure. I am using davids grow and base at 5.8. Any suggestions out there on preventing an outbreak would again be appretiated. I currently have my mothers in with all the clones and plants but will be switching over to flower in 1 week and want to seperate my mothers and a few veg to the other side of the room. I need to seal the room for light, what material can i use and where can i purchase such a material. my budget is skinny but have good hands and can build anything, any suggestions on this material? three of the mothers and all the clones have a 2" rockwool cube then placed in clay pellets, 3 gallon and 5 gallon for the mothers. I have noticed sum of the clones are slow to grow out of there 2" pads into the clay while other plats have taken root fast. Should i not be soaking these pads in the rock-wool but soaking the clay so the roots grow to it. The rock-wool seems too wet at times, i may be over-watering them... is that possible? I flood them with a 6 pump and rotate them manually every day for a couple hours, sometimes i skip a day to let the pads dry out a bit more. I notice the ph in the water spikes up pretty fast so i am constantly having to add ph, which may have caused sum problems because I did just learn of this ph drop. Do i also need to add more davids grow, is it depleting that too? this is a ton of questions, but this is first grow, I give them alot of care, keep the room at a strict 78, humidity runs between 40 - 50% at all times, oscilating fan 24 hours, sometimes I dump 1 gallon of water per plant, other times I let it run under a water pump for an hour each plant. I do not have co2 or anything fancy, cant afford that yet, but i may try using a pump sugar and a little yeast to come up with something for the flower, is it possible to produce good buds this way?
