I live in a subtropical humid and hot climate.

The temperature will not go below freezing for the rest of the year... Can I plant now? it's in the 50-70 range during the day and doesnt' get below 40 at night.

Good sunshine at 30 deg north.

also doing this kind of stealthy, i notice a lot of outdoor growers using pots, i guess that's good if you need to shelter the plants or move them for any reason but isn't it better to let them get deep in the soil, with basically infinite room for root development and nutrient access?

plan on growing lowryder #2, white dwarf, and auto ak47.

using FF Ocean Forest Soil, FF 3 part nutes (Grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom) and tap water distilled by evaporation.

my lights and ventilation are the wind and the sky. god that's refreshing, fuck this indoor shit.

Not to hijack but will these autos even have a long enough life span to use all of your nutes? They say to wait 2-3 weeks until you can even add nutes to your seedlings, that is almost 1/3 of the auto ak47 life cycle. Then factor in the flush period before you harvest, that still gives you about a good month of nutes. But which one to use and a what dosage.... seems complicated with the auto's life cycle.

Somebody with more experience than me should know the answer to these questions...

They plant year round in Hawaii, in similar conditions. But...

You still have to wait until in flowers, and that's probably in September, and I've read that planting too early can actually decrease THC (can't remember where but it seemed authoritative), and it's best to plant in April or May, so why do it? I suppose if you could find some way to induce flowering...

I just got some auto seeds. From what I have been reading they take 8-10 weeks, seed to harvest indoors. They take a bit longer than that outdoors. 40 might be a little rough to me. Also, how many hours of daylight do you have now? Indoors the light timers are set to either 18/6 or 20/4 from start to finish. Maybe you can bring them in at night to avoid cold

Good luck

honestly you should probably wait until the low at night time is atleast 45-50 degrees. I only use molasses for nutes for autos and have great success. I mean to test it out start one plant and throw it outside now. You can be the judge and tell if the cold is affecting it. Good luck

I really thought I had a point, but didn't know about autos. Back to the newbie area for me...

i think the autos don't need nearly as much nutes, the ruderalis makes it grow like any old weed, fast and ruthless with little need for supplemental nutes.

from what i've read!
