Hi everyone = ) This is my first time posting. Well, 2 weeks of flowering, I've come this far by the help of this forum (and a couple others, but this was my favorite = )!!! Now I need help some advise along the rest of the way. It's one thing reading and researching, it is a whole other thing to actually grow and experience all this craziness!
What I have is a 3x2 growing cabinet (I'm growing hydroponically)... Two levels one for veg and one for flowering. I have 5 plants growing right now in their second week of flowering (started flowering on 4-20, seemed as good a day as any). However, I think I put them into flowering a little too late, I was hoping to put them into flowering earlier but was having a major smell issue that had to be taken care of (they were stinking since a couple weeks in from seeds!). I didn't want the extra potency of flowering to make my life really bad (I'm in a 6 plex condo with a police chief on the third floor, eek!). I think I got the smell issue under control but that added time put me into a bit of a bind right now. I have them under 400 HPS light right now, I have a variable ballast and could go 600 HPS.
The five plants are: 4 White Label Fem White Widow (from seed)
the fifth seed is unknown because of seed mix up and can be one of these 5: Dinafem Blue Widow, TH seeds Burmese Kush, G13 Skunk #1, Dinafem Blue Hash, and G13 Labs Pineapple Express... these were free from attitude and I mixed them up on accident (long story and unnecessary haha).
I have quite some time to go before they are done and I only have about 5 more inches of grow room left. Fuck!
Here are some questions:
1) What can I do about the lack of height issue?
2) How can I clean this up to provide more light for bud sites? I'm so worried about cutting the wrong thing, any advice on trimming it down some for optimal exposure?
3) What can be cut off, what should be left alone?
4) My clones 1st attempt at clones failed... (might have got two that will work, but still waiting for roots and it's been two weeks)... is it too late to take clones?
5) Is it common for leaves and branches under the canopy to start falling off?
6) It looks like I'm getting some white fuzz on the rockwool... is that bad?
7) Would turning it up to 600HPS make any difference, would it burn the plants or cause them to heighten even faster?
How am I doing so far for my first time?
