Week 3-since sprouting out of ground

I am trying to LST and so far it's going well and I think I found something easy and should bring in a much larger YIELD and quality without losing weeks time through cutting something.

This is the one I am experimenting with. I've tied the base of the stem off to both sides but the root system on this grow is nasty good since I am using Happy Frog Organic soil with Flora Nova Grow and haven't had nothing but success. I put eye hooks around the top of the flower pot and started with the top of the plant. My plan is to tie down the side branches starting every 2 or 3 days until I got this thing on lockdown. I am going to have 2 ladies doing LST and have 2 clones now(4 more clones I am going to cut tonight and start) and since I am using only a 400 watt light these 8 plants should produce some sickening buds. My last grow was with CFl's and not this choice of soil/fert and I still got 2 oz's per plant. This grow is looking like 4 oz's per plant is coming. I always hear people getting low amounts of yield and I dont understand why they dont do their homework and research/ask questions to ensure the bud is the best. I understand plants can have problems but most of the time it's correctable but people are lazy. The first time you get a few ounces off a plant and it's couchlock smiling until your face goes numb weed you'll be making love to the next plants you grow...lol kiss-ass

@Riddleme

I am using the Flora Nova Grow for veg. What do you recommend for flowering? I was thinking about going to the same store and buying the same product but for flowering.

I like Jack's and DynaGro which I use in combination, but I'm a chem grower

I have not used Flora Nova but have heard good things

For my next grow I might go hydro. My location allows me to buy from selling stuff on craigslist in the biggest region population wise in the US and there are some bargains with this economy the way it is. I saw a system that was basically everything needed from start to finish in this bucket setup kind of all in 1 system. They cost around $250 a piece new and I could have had them 3 for $100 but they had just sold them. It was online like all kinds of other stuff for weeks before it "might sell".

What do you think would be the best system for a 1st time hydro but above average grower? I have a small space available but it's fine for my 400 mh/hps. I wish there was a nice link for a complete easy walkthru of everything you need to get started and step by step. It seems fairly simple and I've researched it a ton. I still like the taste of soil of hydro but since I'll be doing it myself I would do much better of a cleansing. That's what I hear is the biggest problem with big commercial style growers. They don't put the care into the plant like someone who grows 6 or 8 does. I try telling people how a simple bag seed if grown correctly can be chronic and usually 5 X 10 TIMES better than the commercial bag it came from.
