(2) 240W TaoTronics w/ 2 x Blue Cheese, Sour Diesel, Chem Dawg #4

Thanks for the kind words above. I am very surprised on how well the LED has worked for veg, beatuiful green growth w/ absolutely zero heat issues in my enclosed space. Temps rarely get up to 77°, usually right in the 75 range all day. I have read the LED's are a lil under powered for flowering, so I feel by adding 300+w of 3000k T5 bulbs should give a great low heat boost to flower.

Sounds like a great plan.

Things are looking really good in here. Looking forward to seeing them flower. Sour diesel is one of my all time favorites.

Beautiful. Thanks for posting your grow, there are a LOT of people who want to grow but can't with HPS because of heat and power consumption. The 3W LEDs seem to be making it possible to get plants out of an LED system, thanks to the people who share their research.

I've heard a lot of the LED companies are only powering their 3W LEDs around 1.6-2W as anything more just produces heat and not proper lighting in the 2-3W range. I haven't measured output yet, but I will before the end of the grow to let everybody know what actual output it. Dee Jay, out of the 3 different strains I can say the SD has been the most picky w/ nutes and seem to have the less substantial veg structure than the others. I won't bore anybody w pics until I there is some signs of flowering in the next week or so.

My best strain for producing weight and massive buds has been Northern Lights from Seedsman Seeds, I have been cloning the best one of ten seeds to keep the thing going. Fastest to finish has been Blueberry from Dutch Passion and it is the one I enjoy trimming the most because it just smells great. My current grow has Kandy Kush, which is growing very well and is making very large buds. I suggest growing both what you like, and what grows best with you system, so you can have both your favorite flavor and some impressive yields to keep you motivated to put the effort into your grow operation. Very interested in what you think about the LED units as I would like to make the change to LEDs to save power and reduce heat. Nice start!:bigjoint:

Day 38 (Day 3 Flower) 12/12, 79°/77%RH

Well the T5 setup arrived. I thought I would show a picture of the setup so everybody get's an idea of what I'm working with.

Day 41 (Day 6 Flower) 12/12, 83°/60%RH

Well I went a head a splurged a little more. Bought an awesome Solueus Air 10,000 BTU portable air conditioner/dehumidifier combo. Since I can now keep the room temp around 85° w/ that added T5 and RH at or below 60° I can efficiently add CO2 so I bought a 20lb tank and regulator to make this tent as perfect as possible. Grow ladies grow!

Day 43 (Day 8 Flower) 12/12, 85°/55%RH

Sexing is now showing on all 6 plants as if I didnt know already. I have moved the AC unit outside the tent so it only acts as an intake and not exhaust to keep the CO2 concentrated in the grow area.

Tried my first attempt at taking some clones about 10 days ago, and hit close to if not a 100% rooted rate too. :eyesmoke:

Day 62 (Day 27 Flower) 12/12, 81°/55%RH 1500PPM CO2

I have added molasses to my FF lineup of nutes. I am also running a regulated CO2 line into the tent for optimal conditions on that end. Loving my LED/T5 setup, it's working amazing for me so far!
