2 Cadillacs and a big block chevy...

So I finally pulled the trigger and bought some stuff for my own DIY build. I bought two CXB3590s and one vero 29. A meanwell hlg120c1400a and a 4.85x22 heatsink from heatsinkusa that will have 2 92mm cpu fans on it. Going into an 18 x 24 fridge. Even after doing all the calculations, a few times, i'm concerned about heat. Can anyone help to assuage my trepidation?

make sure the fridge has adequate in/out airflow and you will be fine.

Also make sure the room that the fridge is in has adequate airflow and ambient temps. I would remote mount the drivers on the outside of the fridge.

Love the thread name.

Remote mounting the drivers is easy enough. Just put them in the bottom where the old compressor was. In my basement which is plenty big enough for the heat to dissipate. Not like it's going to be a fridge in a small closet off of a small closed room with no ventilation.

well then, lets also make sure the house the room is in has adequate ventilation ....
I read your sarcasm but you'd be surprised by how many people think you can ventilate a tent or closet(or fridge) into a small closed off bedroom. It may work for some but not all, just putting it out there.

You'll be fine in the basement Kevin. I helped build a stand up freezer grow once back in a previous life so I'll be watching and rooting you on!

Bobby, I can't help it, I'm a tree hugger...I'm hugging some trees right now.
