With every post you make it painfully obvious you're not a "hunter" you're just another gun nut. Yes, moose are a "prey" animal much like a horse. They'll kick the shit of you too if spooked.
You "see" 10-20" a year? It takes you a whole year to see that many? Every person in my family can tag one out once a yr. Its a primary food source for my family as well as deer. Can you guess why without going through my past posts? Again, this is shit hunters would know.
Our camp is literally a 15 minute drive so not really much difference from town or camp other than a few stores.

When I "pack heat", the two-legged critters are the ones I worry about.

Though a moose can its probably a rare occurrence. I've seen some of those rare occurrences. Like a hog cut a buddy from knee to groin with a tusk, ten point buck cut a buddy all to pieces and came close to ripping his stomach open and a few other odd animal attacks.

I've been up close and personal to a mountain lion a few times. We were riding atv's one time nd stopped to take a leak and jumped one up from where it was bedded down. Scared the shit out of me for a second. Lol.

I havent hunted in years but grew up hunting from 9 till i was about 20

Ive hunted in romote parts of kotzebue
To deep in interior alaska to where its a 12 hr ride by four wheeler until you see a road

The hunting i have done is what you lower 48 guys pay big bucks for

Im never in the woods without a weapon
Any true dangerous game hunter knows this

Not some deer picker off the farm

It would be more but since im not hunting im not LOOKING for them im sure ive seen at least 50 plus or more during a year that im paying attention

I've seen it up close and personal too. We had a bull going batshit during rutt that ripped the siding off our garage and proceeded to ram hubbys truck. The kids and I were laughing....Mr Tang was not.

Back to the original post. Since this shooting happened there has been 4 counties with schools closed due to social media threats. One in which my son goes to. WTF!!!!! In southern Indiana there were 3 schools closed due to the same issue.

Parents dont lock your fucking guns up! TEACH YOUR KIDS GUN SAFETY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have guns laying in spots throughout our house. My kids are 19,16,10, and 8. I'll be dammed if my children would ever pick a weapon up. With the exception training (at a gun range of course).

Teach your kids how to fight with their hands! It is disgusting to see kids killing kids.

This is a real shit way to start a new year!
