2 Different Colored CFLs

ok, so i know there is the really whiteish looking cfl when its on. and then thres the other kind that is yellow. which ones are best for veggin and which are best for flowering? or does this really matter?

Put simply:

White = Better for Veg
Orange/Yellow = Better for Flower

A mix of both probably has benefits, as long as the dominating light source is the colour suited to your situation of either flowering or vegging.

about using the 6500K and 2700K together.... Would it hurt anything to only use the 6500K during veg? what are the pros and cons of this

You can use either one for veg and/or flower ... It's just the light spectrum of each is more suited toward one or the other ... i.e - white/blue light spectrum better for veg. red spectrum light better for flowering.

It's just the way the plant utilizes that part of the light spectrum, both will work, but one is more efficiently utilized.
