2 Homemade LARGE Aerogardens lol

Hi Guys and Girls! - I am a brand newbie here, and feel my setup belongs here because my growing medium is about 5x5cm of rockwool in a plastic brace, sitting in a suspended tray with 120 litres of water beneath

I am growing Dr Grinspoon and Critical Mass, a few probs here and there, so i lost a couple and one decided to drop so i tore that fella to bits

Inc, Tent ,Lights and all other essentials the Entire setup up cost $850-900

The Grow is nearly completed now, so ill happily ask questions (i have a secret ingredient haha) and just keep bangin some pics up when i get time... ill start from the begining

I swapped the plants around as grinspoon was going mental in growth - Critical didnt really do what they were supposed to, one of them just stopped completely and decided she was done!? crap genes maybe..?

Have you taken the critical mass to full harvest before ?

The reason i ask is because CM is another name for Big Bud,ive grown both & both are highly suseptable to mold aka bud rott in the mid to late bud stage,its in your best interest to spray the very young buds heavily with liquid copper soap while the buds are immature & never mist them again with anything.

The buds grow around the treated pistils & calyxs & seal in the copper particles,its highly effective at fighting off bud rott.

Haha hey buddy! Thanks! shall i share this publicly or not? cos i reckon its the bomb... (i hope this is not something everyone is already doing haha)

As im sure you can all see, i did go a bit overboard one week on nutes... but the entitys that be fixed her up Dr Grinspoons Description states that her yield is very low, i honestly think that is a massive misrepresentation of the strain imo

I havent grown grinspoon but i have grown out critical mass,once i solved the mold issue the harvests were out of fukin sight,i hit well over 4 ounces per plant flood n drain which is a huge amount for my tables,pretty tasty smoke too,makes excellent hash.

Setup looks sound bjj nice looking buds to looking forward to seeing more!

No i have never grown cm before... and your right, the mould is fast acting, one plant had enough so i salvaged (dryed) a little over 2 ounces.
I have heard from a close friend that spraying cm with a gibberelic acid solution helps them become mould resistant? - not sure on that one as i do not use hormones, maybe i should the yields some folks get is crazy!

Ok so here is my secret to maintaining a slime free, PH balanced , bug free Aero-Gangsta

Before filling both containers up i rinse them first with AquaPRO pond water treatment (the one with the conditioner) then every 2 weeks i put in 25ml into each res/container. This seems to keep that gunky green slime away that i hear a lot of hydro growers struggle with, also i find the vitamin B keeps the roots healthier.
I honestly dont know why i thought of using this.. but it bloody works - give it a go next time guys, even if you dont have any of the above issues id still recommend it, i do think it improves the end result.

How much longer until full Maturity guys? 2-3 more weeks?
As you can see i ripped out the Critical which has given the Dr plenty of room towards the end - am i on the right path with that concept of thinking?

id say minimum 4-6 weeks if not more. how long ago did u start flowering?

dr grinspoon is a 12-14 week type of gal

Nah mate just wondering (shes 12 weeks in) up to 15 week flowering period - basically my question was more or less, do you think shes on track, behind or head?
Taking in consideration she doesn't yield any more than 350g p/sq/m

if thats 12 weeks of flowering than somthings wrong, are you using a timer? did you switch to nutes for flowering?

Hey mate... yea all the lights were flipped correctly, nutes all fine... i did burn them a couple of weeks ago, but flushing seemed to help... so er what should i do then?
