2 Plants, 1 great, 1 not

Currently have two plants. Both have been in the same conditions the entire time. In a 5x3 enclosure with 2 150w HPS lights. During the second week, I noticed the enclosure was getting too hot for the plants (peaked at almost 96 degrees) so i started leaving the door open, and added another fan and now the temperature doesn't get above 81. One of the plants moved right past the stress and is doing beautifully well, however, the other plant seems to have had it's growth stunted. All of the leaves are staying small and it's not doing well overall. I have them nutrients, same soil, same pots, everything, but it doesn't seem to be changing. Should I just abandon hope on this plant, or should I just continue to let it grow?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The plant is upset because of the heat. I'm not positive unless you post some pictures. But you mentioned you gave the plant nutes; maybe this plant isn't responding well to the dosage, I have to see pictures and know how much in nutrients you gave them in order to give you a precise answer.

I will post some pictures a bit later when I get home. Basically, I'm just feeding them nutrients every other watering. Tablespoon of base and grow nutes per gallon. Nothing too strong either. However, the one plant wasn't doing good before I started the nutrients because of the heat. Once I corrected the heat I thought it would come back relatively quickly. However, it's been a couple weeks and the plant still isn't doing well. Leaves that are coming in almost look retarded.

let the second one grow out and smoke it. but i would be cloning plant no.1. seems to me she has good genetics to be handling stress like the trooper she is.

Yeah, that's kind of what I was thinking. This is my first time though, and wasn't quite sure.

Thanks for the help.
