2 plants one pot

Can I clip the smaller plant for clones. It only has 2 runners. Obviously the other plant is bullying nutrients. Can I just cut the stem at the dirt and make 2 clones out of it? It's sure to do better.

I watched (On PBS) a show and they did numerous tests with plants. One of the tests showed that clones taken from the same mother will not fight for nutes against one another. Plants of the same type but taken from different moms did have a stronger plant that eventually killed the other in the same pot.

But to answer your question; yes you can cut the smaller of the two and clone it out.

Nice! Well they were grown from seeds so I'm not sure about the same mother thing. They are definitely the same strain and one looks great but the other is definitely lacking. If I'm cutting from main stalk how much foliage do I leave on?

I only like to keep the top 2 or three nodes on my clones. But thats just me. They seem to fit in the tray better.
