This is just getting too too funny. I had some good laughs early on and even chimed in a couple times and also unsubscribed but just like not being able to look away from an accident I had to check back in. After all the sincere responses, after the two partial jackers and most importantly and after my wasted time, this joker is going to grow big bud?!? That's got to be the icing on the cake lol. Big Bud!?!!! Ha ha I swear this guy is a troll and rolling around on the floor creaming his jeans right about now. Good one hud.

Now he's going to start questioning his strain choice....At least he'll know that weight isn't everything after he grows and smokes it.

More like a 10 car pile-up. It IS funny but like lighting I find it funny for different reasons than most. Now folks are talking about the basics, botany!

About as funny as this one - https://www.rollitup.org/advanced-marijuana-cultivation/330111-anybody-want-double-their-yield-15.html

Noticed where another bloke doesn't bother to do a search before posting the same old tired questions - https://www.rollitup.org/advanced-marijuana-cultivation/381914-watt-yeild-question.html

Supercroppping, LST, Big Bud, Clearex, Voodoo juice, Bloombastic Super Additive, conversion systems, 10W40W Quaker State......come on fellers, let's get down and dirty and do some LOLLIPOPPIN'! :D

I can see dope growing is becoming the same as the fitness industry. Very opinionated, overadvertised and expensive. Its like this... you can run, do a few push ups every day and eat sensibly look pretty good or you could also lift rediculously heavy weights and guzzle down expensive overrated protein shakes and still get simalar results. The same goes for growing dope. Dont believe the hype!

I can see where you are coming from Ben, this is getting a bit silly. But thats what guys do, we compete lol. It wont be long before people are thinking of 5 or 6 lbs/ light lol

I went into a forum based around a breeder and looked around earlier. I checked out the threads and figured it would be interesting to run a set of this dudes shit, so i looked to order. The sticker shock for 10 seeds has yet to leave meh.

Send me a 5 pack Dude, dealers choice.

Yeah im not naming any companies in specific but theres no way you would get me paying 140 for 5 seeds. Crazy. Good genetics yes but they dont have to cost that much. Thats just coining in on people.

It's a greedy business. I remember all the hype on a strain called Kong about 16 years ago. Claims of 3 lbs. per plant, $30/seed! You'd be surprised how many dumbshits bought only to find out their dreams shattered. Probably the best bang for the buck regarding high end seeds was Cinderella 99, but it too had its problems. It is prone to rot and some report that on occasion it does go hermie. Went for $15/seed. I just harvested an outdoor backcross of C99 that I did years ago and folks can't get enough of it. It's fruity on the palate with a very strong up high. I've sold one guy quite a bit, says all he needs is 2 hits off a joint.

Hey UB, I would enjoy hearing your thoughts on "hybrid vigor". A thread on the subject would be awesome.

Mel Franks had an excellent ditty on the subject in his breeding chapter. Basically if you cross a pure sativa with a pure indica you get "hybrid vigor"....... a robust, vigorous offspring. O. Haze X Afghan would be a good example of such a cross.

Your calling me a joker? For selecting a strain that is known for producing? Come on man, have some class. I wouldn't insult you like that but then again, I have class and tact. I would help you out if I thought I could. Please don't post in this thread anymore if your going to insult people.

Hey uncle ben. I doubt you remember me but we used to chat in a bunch of threads several months back. I just started growing again and started using the site again. Just wanted to say thanks for all the advice you gave me on my first grow.

Recommend Jack Herer. My avatar is Positronic Jack Herer. Don't know if you can find it anymore.

Appreciate the gratitude, and, welcome back!

I get a kick out of this thread where people are like I got 1.1 gpw that is total bs!! Does anyone here think time is a factor or what if not none of this thread has any merit at all!
Let me put this a easy way to understand one grower grows 2 pounds in 8 weeks from clone he or she yielded .5gpw per month and another grower grew 2 pounds in 16 weeks he or she would have yielded .25gpw per month this is the only fair way to measure yield!!

Get my drift if ya say you get 1 gpw witch is a expert in my opinion then for a 1000 watter you should get 4 lbs in 8 weeks from clone now how many on here can even say they are in the expert level?

Most of yield has to do with strain anyway I would personal rather get .5 gpw a month of great bud than 1 gpw a month for crappy less than potent mj mills!
I guess it depends if it is for yourself or for sale I like smoking small amounts of potent bud rather then big fatties of shit!

Dumbest thing anyone has said on this thread.
We only count the final weight in, conturairy to the full cycle for that strain and time.
2 pounds a light isnt even a gram per watt. 2.2 is a gram per watt and that is what most people are getting in a larger scale.
Just because you didnt get 400 grams off your 400 watter, doesnt mean people dont get 66 pounds off 30 1000w digital hps lights with two 5 ton watercooled a/c's, three 70 pint dehums, 16burner blue ox with matador controllers and 12 18" oscolating fans. Temps sitting at 28c, rh at 50% and co2 at 1800 ppms. ANd 50 plants to a light, 1 week veg. In a SEALED ROOM. And we are talking about PURPLE KUSH. aduh

critical mass is suppose to have close to BB yields, but with some potency bred into it. dont know form experience though
Critical Mass grows VERY different then Big Bud or Salmon Creek BB. Gets very tall very quickly. Triples in height when switched. Very dense quality nugs too. Best quality producer I have found is Fruity Chronic. It is Chronic X White Widow. It does take 9 weeks to finish though. Adds a lot of its potency in week 8-9. This one was at about 7 1/2 weeks. Was grown SOG at 4 per SQ foot and yielded 35 grams dried and cut. Average yield from this gem was 30 on this grow. Does take a lot of nutes to max this one out. I use Snow Storm Ultra to get them nice and frosty. This one really wants to be pushed so dont be timid.

I do not recommend Salmon Creek BB , it is very sensitive to nutes, gets mildew very easily, spider mites love it more then any other plant in the garden and it doesnt yield well if grown small in SOG.

Another good one is Agent Orange. Great for SOG, incredible quality ( Orange Lavender x Green Crack x Jack the Ripper) and very very good yielder. Cheese Can also yield incredibly well and is very very strong but it's smell is brutal and you need lots of charcoal filters for it. Blue Dream is great quality and great yield. Have not done Jack Herer but it has a lot of what Agent Orange has in it and similar smell so its not surprising.
