2 week old flowering girl, weird growth, pic, question

I have a plant that has been through hell and back but has came out nicely, she's in her 2nd week of flowering, and I just took this pic tonight, she has nice little flowers all over, it's just this little thing that is weird, any opinions?

all my plants have leaves that form at the nodes. Thats what it is, a little set of leaves.

its a babby branch that would grow if the bigger branch beside it was eaten off in nature

hmmm so that's possible? for a like 8 week old plant to start growing extra branches?
