You can top autos!!!
I guess it depends on the strain. Because I've tried twice and lost a lot of time due to topping. It added more branches, but I feel it would have given me more without the loss of growth due to healing and regrowth. They grow good branching as it is. Topping works best when you have time to veg them out and make the time loss worth it. I top and LST and super crop. Veg for 100 days then flip. My plants are monsters.

image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg Hey guys thanks for the advice. Last night I decided to trim all the big stuff off of all 3 of them. I'm planning on harvesting the purple Ryder either tomorrow or Monday. I have heard that it's good not to give them any water for 3 or 4 days before you chop it. Is that a true statement? Oh and here's some pics of them all trimmed up last night.
In the pictures the second picture that has the two smaller ones next to eachother the one on the left is the purple Ryder that I plan on harvesting within a couple more days. They are all about 9 weeks old maybe a day or two older than 9 weeks.

My bad, voice text blows. I said judging by your close up pic, it looks like your almost there. Keep a close eye on those tricome, and there's enough to see clearly lol, great job by the way, full maturity of thc is about where you are now. When they begin to Amber in color , starting on the bulb, it'll begin turning up the cbd ratio. Thc slightly decreases, but increasing in cbd. Head high. (All cloudy and plump)Vs. Body high(mostly Amber little cloudy) vs mixed head + body (50/50 cloudy,Amber) I like 70%cloudy, 30% Amber. Personally. And it can happen quickly, like your a week past cloudy and none are Amber, then over the course of 12 hrs, a big change has happened. Even if you said to hell with his advice and chopped right now, it would be good pot. No doubt. But it can be better. Be patient. You waited all this time and put hours in too it. Be patient. The most important part is upon you. Harvesting, drying and curing.

Wow you have no idea how much I appreciate your advice with the amber and cloudy percentiles. The biggest one the sweet dwarf still has about 2-3 weeks left. But I was planning on chopping the purple Ryder either tomorrow night or Monday night. So 1-2 more days. And then the other small one which is the Royal bluematic I was gonna give it til like Friday.
Do you think that is ok if I chop the purple Ryder in another 2 days? Will it be ok. I wanna say it has about 50-60% Amber hairs

Oh and that picture I posted that is the close up glamour shot. is the Royal bluematic I'm pretty sure. That's the one I was going to wait until Thursday or Friday to chop. Do you think that will be too long?

Dude, I'm not talking about the pistols(hairs) I'm talking about the crystal on the bud. Tricome. They start clear, then cloudy, then Amber. The hairs don't mean shit when it comes to chopping at the right time. Touching your buds alone will turn hairs orange or whatever color usually orange/red from acids and oils and god knows what is on your hands. Temp, humidity, stress, and of course maturity. Yes, ideally when mostly all (80%)turned orange , your almost done. But to get her at the perfect time means better potency, flavor, and odor bag appeal. If you don't have a magnifying lens , get one from any local grow shop for like 25$ for a X60 magnification. Or until, snap a close up clear pic on your phone and zoom in and see an overall view. Better than your naked eye. I see Alot of white/yellow hairs still on them. Be patient it's worth the wait

This is what I have, and it is very effective for the price. Fuck $25, try $5. I think @yeatster used a macro app on his phone, with usable results, so you could try that.

I am tempted to get a USB microscope, just to save me squinting down the eyepiece. It would also make taking photos for here easier.

Sick.
Love the name by the way. And I saw that app, looks cool think I gotta check it out.14602879938911318293943.jpg 1460288029376-274619622.jpg IMAG2385.jpgcheck out this one branch. I'll pull 4 ozs off of this one branch. Watch.

Thanks dude, I put a lot of time into her and all 11 of her cousins and children. Lol. I love growing marijuana. And I'm dam good. Check out the crystal formation already at mid week 3. Flower. The first pics are orange cookies(o.j.X g.s.c ) 2nd pic is my super lemon haze hybrid(s.l.h.X Afghani) and 3rd is chemdawg. (Chemdawg.) I have a few other strains, but your gonna have to wait for me to unveil my new hybrid. My best female is my super lemon haze X Afghani. Crossed by yours truly. Had the seeds(3) for a few years. Prison, theft and bad luck have prevented me from doing them already, but I'm back on track and better and more determined than ever to make my mark on the weed scene. Until next time, keep your thumb green and your screen clean. 1460318823212955256855.jpg 1460318823212955256855.jpg 1460318823212955256855.jpg 1460318924934-251518095.jpg 1460318980036-554441887.jpg

Let's get to the finish line first fellas . First run of some of these. So far so good. If they all stay at the pace they are at, I can look forward to a heavy yield as well as dank. I'm not the type to promise anything unless I know I'm 100%. With that said, I ain't scared.

I'm in Rhode Island, soon to be in northern California, around July/August. When this grow is done actually. Some time to put things in order and I'm gone. Where you all from?
