2 weeks left til a nice harvest and got a small mold prob

I got a fat ass plant ive been spending much of the summer babying and it looks fuckin nice.. I got about 2 weeks left before i harvest.. The only problem is i been noticeing dead leafs comeing from within the bud. I pulled it out n notice the end of the leaf whad a black substance and was real soft an mushy.. Pulled out a few more on the inside and notice the same thing .. Its about the size of a dime on only one large bud... I dont see how i can get mold on a bud when it is an outside plant and here in northen cali it been 100+ the last week and all months prior and in the 70s a night... Also being im so far alnog n the plant looks nice pushin orange hairs n hella crystals, should i clip off the whole bud hang it n see how it turns out or just let it ride for the next week or so... Need your opnion if u look at this page just please tell me what u think.... Clip it of ride it out ???????????

If you're within about 25 miles of the ocean that's probably the problem. I've never had bud mold so I can't really advise you on it from personal experience but your first line of defense should be to get a dehumidifier going and maybe burn some sulfur.

U think i should cut off area where the mold is and up. Or just do the whole branch ... She is pretty damn mature like 40% of hairs are orange
