Howdy yall, my friend asked me to post this for him. He is a medical patient, and so am i. But he is not very "Technologically oriented" so to say; anyways. He is wondering what he could possibly pull from 20 dried plants
(Well bellow the the legal limit) Topped and lollipoped; flipped into flowering at 2 and a half feet. 2400 watts in a 5 x 10, 50sf room. Using the entire fox farm nutrient line, wet nutes + dry concentrate. He has an ac unit and an inline fan. The room stays at a steady 72 and the humidity is around 30 - 45%. The perticular strains he is cultivating are Purple Afghan and Skywalker OG. Any thoughts? It'd be greatly appreciated.

I grow in a 6x8 48sq ft with 2000 watts and have grown 8 plants twice, now I do 6, it's a lot better, more room for me to get around to take care of them and I think that they like that little bit of extra room also cause there wasn't that much of a difference in yield.I have no idea how you are going to grow 20 in a room that size, you probably won't get in the door.

So you think 20 is to many? I took 20 clones, so I doubt all will survive maybe 50% to 75% success rates. So maybe 10 or 15 plants max. Let's say 10.10 plants 2000 watts, that's 200 watts a plant. Sufficient?

What im wondering if I have 4 or 5 plants under each 1000 watt HID. Would I be able to pull 2 pounds if the environment is ideal?
I guess you could, but I believe that you will realistically only do 8 in that space and it will be tight and you said your best was 2 oz. a plant, the math is simple,I'm not an expert far from it and have probably the same amount of experience as you,my last 3 runs I did 6 plants, vegged to about 2' and if everything was golden, I was at just under a lb with 2000 watts, it gets a little better every run but that's the reality of it.I know there are people in this forum who could do 2 lbs in their sleep but they have paid their dues. All I'm saying is try to be realistic, look at when you buy seeds they tell you yield and I can't remember any strains that said 906 grams a sq. meter and that is about what were growing in
