Today I was at my neighborhood Hardware store (yes they still exist) and I found this big bastard.

It pulls 45w and spits 200w and 3,000 lumens Natural light. Cost was $18.

I'm currently flowering on week 2 under a 400w MH. I have 6 plants and I think I need more light. check it.

Do you guys think this CFL will make a difference?

they will placed in the correct place. anything is better than nothing, so yer, go ahead and add that one in somewhere.

somewhere it will reach as many plants as possible.

edit: just incase you dont know. it has to be a 2700k for flowering and a 6400k for veg. and the more lighting the better!

If you were vegging I would say top your plants. Since you are in flower...move them closer together and about 10 inches under your 400W. You have major stretch going on. You need way bushier plants. I know it sounds crazy to top but you will get 2 big colas instead 2. How far away is your 400W currently?

I just lowered it to about 13" away from the hood and moved them closer together. 4 out of the 6 plants have multiple colas coming from the sides. Only the stretched ones have one and some small buds developing on the joints where the branches jot off.

The plants were way stretched before I got them. So I don't think I am contributing to that. Please look at this post all about them and tell me what you think. https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/170574-set-up-plants-w-pics.html

you'll be ok. i didn't realized you didn't grow from scratch. go with what you have. personally i use fert every water until i see some signs of burn - then back off. you might not ever see. The first 3 weeks of flower usually sees massive additional stretching but then things calm down. at least they'll have good air flow.
