Hope so fruitbat!!! the plant is SO healthy I almost want to flower her under more "proven" lights but I'm gonna stick it out and see what happens:)

yep... she's loving the induction light... hard to tell if it will compare to the HID lights when it comes to the end results... but it seems to be thriving so far!!
your trippen man that shit compares for sure need some UVB but those buds are gonna explode! that plant looks happier than a plant outside. seeing that update definitly make me want to get one. what size is your room? how many plant under that light? what the heat like? could you do a dry dun for me maybe later of 3 hours unventilated? later after flower if your worried about the plant

I have a single plant in a 32" x 32" tent... there is ZERO heat footprint with a 4" inline fan...pretty powerful one albeit.. canopy temps are the same as ambient room temp... have had ZERO issues with heat the last two weeks when temps hovered in the mid 90's outside. The bulb itself does get hot... don't get me wrong... but it doesn't project the heat like hps lamps... I have it about 8-9 inches from the canopy and don't feel a thing when you put your hand at the top of the plant

200w in 3x3 okay one plant k. good good i think that tips the iceberg the induction way. hmmm i could do a lot with that light then. it fill that 3x3 very very well. one plant i think you could do more maybe 2 that size under that light with the proper canopy management.

I mean I guess technically I could fit 2 or 3 more plants this size in the tent... but wanted to focus the light on one plant and see what it could do... if I were to raise the light it would easily cover the entire sq footage of the tent at a lesser intensity I would guess.

yeah dude you pulling at least 1g per watt this run i would almost guarantee it.
I would be THRILLED w/ 7 zips out of this....lol!!! I kinda doubt it though... I got 6oz off a single ww x bb in the same tent under the HID lights with the blackstar for side lighting

she looks happy. +REP. that induction light is = to a 1k right?
That's what it claims but I have yet to find anybody except those marketing them that would agree...lol~ all I know is the plant is the healthiest I have grown to date... I guess the real question is will the induction lamp be able to produce large dense buds...I'm already convinced it can veg with the best of them:) Flowering has really just begun so time should tell soon I hope!

you notice rapid growth same as with HID?? but no heat?
extremely fast... if you look at the first pic I posted under the induction lamp... the pot was actually on a shoebox as well to keep it up towards the light. Now the shoebox is gone and it's almost touching the light... I opted to move the plant up and down rather than the light because it is VERY heavy! It's doubled in size in 2 weeks... height and girth. I'm not ruling out the fact that Sannies amazing genetics are playing a part in the success as well... I have every intention of growing this strain again !!
As far as the heat... the bulb does get hot but it doesn't project the heat like HID... almost undetectable 2 inches from the bulb
