i think i flew on a plane with you into colorado springs.
although that would be awesome, ive never been to calorado. i did have a friend that went there and we looked like we could have been brothers. his name was mike also...maybe him.

small world!
very, ive run into an old boss from boston in a stripclup in canadia, a guy i went to school within nh in kuwait and another friend from school in another stripclup in italy

I've always wanted to be a survivalist. I've been bit by a rattlesnake and by a copperhead on different occasions. That's all it took to keep me out of them there woods. I won't never go back. More power to you bro.
sounds safer for you that way...

the earth just farted and its getting hot.

and by the time we find out whats going on, its gonna be too late to do anything.

many will die, some will live and hopefully rebuilt or kill each other fighting for the remaining resources.

Has anyone bothered to point out that the title of this thread is false and misleading?

We know it has been hotter than this and alot hotter according to the geological record.

humans!!!!
all the methane in their farts!!!
Someone once suggested on another forum I frequent that at least 1/2 of the heat is created inside the earth...

It has been 4 years and we still have not let him forget it...

To explain how stupid this whole argument is... Humans create about 5% of the greenhouse gasses on the planet. It is that 5 percent we are discussing.

5% added again and again and again + a gradual increase each time to show for population growth... at some point it will add up.

does this 5% take into account for ALL human activity?

curious where u saw this. could u toss a link or something?

Hey Raverguy? Be different than everybody else please? Just once, get an idea in your head and type it into google. You know, do a little independant research? Now, nothing against you because this is typical behavior on a website. People should be motivated to find the truth and not just ask for it to be spoon fed to them.

Now, I typed in percentage of carbon dioxide into this magical thing called GOOGLE...

AND THE 2ND LINK WAS THIS!!!!!

Just how much of the "Greenhouse Effect" is caused by human activity?
It is about 0.28%, if water vapor is taken into account-- about 5.53%, if not.
This point is so crucial to the debate over global warming that how water vapor is or isn't factored into an analysis of Earth's greenhouse gases makes the difference between describing a significant human contribution to the greenhouse effect, or a negligible one.
Water vapor constitutes Earth's most significant
greenhouse gas, accounting for about 95% of Earth's greenhouse effect (5). Interestingly, many "facts and figures' regarding global warming completely ignore the powerful effects of water vapor in the greenhouse system, carelessly (perhaps, deliberately) overstating human impacts as much as 20-fold.
Water vapor is 99.999% of natural origin. Other atmospheric greenhouse gases, carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O), and miscellaneous other gases (CFC's, etc.), are also mostly of natural origin (except for the latter, which is mostly anthropogenic).
Human activites contribute slightly to greenhouse gas concentrations through farming, manufacturing, power generation, and transportation. However, these emissions are so dwarfed in comparison to emissions from natural sources we can do nothing about, that even the most costly efforts to limit human emissions would have a very small-- perhaps undetectable-- effect on global climate.

A request to all of you... Before you scream for a link could you at least take the time to type google and the subject into your browsers? That way you get independent verification of the information you are reading...

And you wonder why some can't trust their data...
