Here's an update of the happenings.

Brought out a bunch of extra water for the bucket reservoirs I'll be using when I'm gone, plucked some dead leaves, and put down a layer of mulch on top of the buckets to prevent evaporation.

There are four Sour Diesel that will be done before the other three, and the three G13/Haze will be done probably after all of the Sour Diesel are done. This is good because I can stagger the drying of these in my closet, probably 2-3 at a time, to minimize smell.

concerning the ONA, what i used to do is get a five gallon bucket and put soil moist crystals in it, then pour the ONA liquid in the bucket. Then place a fan on top of the bucket blowing outward. This really helped with the smell and lasted for several days.

Its moron comments like this that make me believe more and more I made the right decision in not doing any more updates.

Why is it hard to believe that people don't have an indoor place to dry their buds? Some of us have families, responsibilities to people that don't want even soft drugs like marijuana anywhere near them. If compromising my families security is an issue, I won't take the risk.

I guess these are the kind of comments you get from 15-year old kids that post on RIU.

And 20k worth of weed? Lol, I wish kid...you sound like those idiot cops that pull a dozen plants out of some house and declare on the nightly news:

"a major drug bust was had today, with the eradication of 12 marijuana plants, worth an estimated $3 billion."

There should be a simple IQ test required for those who want to sign up for this website.
Thanks for the insults, I was one of the first to reply to this thread as I did same strain in similar climate several years ago. I am a 35 year old accountant with a wife and child. I have over 30 grows under my belt. I would love to challenge you to an IQ test. My concern was you putting in all of this effort and ruining it all not being able to dry it properly. And you insult me bc I am concerned about you ruining everything? I have seen more harvests ruined by not drying properly than done correctly. I have less than 10 plants outdoors and expect at least 5 lbs. I thought you had like 30 plants? What do you think pot is worth these days? 500 per lb? Peace, i hope all your effort isnt wasted.

I used to administer the Stanford-Binet IQ test at a major US university to incoming psychology majors. I've taken the test countless times, with an average score of 138. 140 and above is considered genius.

I started with 22 plants, 12 were male...so I have 10 left. Were you trying to make some sort of point here?

If you're seriously an accountant (doubtful) and have the ability to gauge value of marijuana by at least looking at the videos/pics I posted, you wouldn't estimate the value of the 10 plants I have growing in buckets at $20,000. That's just nuts and really emblematic of someone without a true fix on marijuana reality.

Yeah my point is you're a dick and now I know i have a higher IQ than yours. You insulted me for no reason (and called me a liar) and now you have decided to do what I advised, which is not try to dry it outside. I have seen more plants and finished product than you ever will in your life. I dont watch your videos, I was just trying to help out a fellow grower. Eat a bag of dicks and go fuck up your sorry ass grow.

I think you're just pissed cause I called you on your BS. You're full of it.

Glad to know that you know all the grows I've been a part of.

Why you feel the need to try and prove yourself worthy by 'claiming' to have more grows than me (doubtful), or that you've seen more finished product than me (equally doubtful)...really funny stuff.

Wouldn't it stand to reason that if you were to gauge how much a person's plants were, you would at least look at the videos that show the plants? You just spout off a dollar value, not realizing that I'm growing in 5-gallon buckets.

You're not helping your case kid, but thanks for stopping by...haha.

You're the only one pissing kid.

And obviously you do care, or else you wouldn't be back here, pontificating your greatness.

The reason I called you a moron is that 1) you think my 10 plants are worth $20,000 and 2) you find it unfathomable that anyone would attempt to dry weed outdoors, as you feel you'd get worthless weed from the effort.

Comments obviously made by someone without a clue, and when you couple it with your arrogance, it forces me to call you out...point blank.

The south sucks....can't wait to put people like you in my rear-view when I move next year.

Thanks man, exactly my point.

Mexican brick weed is just laid out in fields to dry, getting bleached out by the sun, reducing pretty good weed to pretty mediocre weed.

I have a 10'x13' tent I could use to dry it in. However, I'm gonna dry 2 plants at a time indoors, using various odor masking agents.

The way the plants are flowering and maturing, it looks like that'll work out pretty well, as the Sour Diesel is closest to being done, and of the Sour Diesel there are 2-3 plants that will finish first. After the SD is done, the G13/Haze will likely be ready for drying, giving me time to properly dry just a few plants at a time.

Earlier in the year, heck even a few weeks ago, I had no idea how flowering would go, which plants would develop when, etc.

Now I have a more clear idea of the timing I have to work with, as in which plants will finish first, second, etc. I've never grown either of these strains before, nor have I grown in the south before, so there were a lot of unknown variables impacting harvest dates, and therefore drying parameters....i.e. outdoors/indoors.

Man looking at some of the plants growing in the RIU Outdoor Growers forum, I can believe people can get $20,000 for 10 plants...easily. Next year I'll be able to grow in the ground, and won't be limited in plant size like I was this year in using buckets.

I'll be really ecstatic if I can yield a pound out of all this.

Thanks for the post and good info.

Btw, that's an insane plant you have in front of you! :peace:

That does suck about your church plant. I had a really high number of G13/Haze males unfortunately, but that's just the luck of the draw sometimes.

I'll be doing a video update as soon as it's finished uploading on youtube.

Lots of THC crystals forming on the bud tops of the Sour Diesel, looks really nice. :hump:

Two of the G13/Haze look great, although coming along slower than the Sour Diesel. Lots of buds developing on them, and they're 2 feet taller than the Sour Diesel.

There have been a few instances of random bud rot I've been cutting out. Really funky stuff, hollows out the branch and turns it brown. It's been a long time since I've had to deal with bud rot....probably 12 years.

Well here's a 5-minute video update of just the buds:

Fattening of the buds is cool! THC crystals are starting to form nicely around the Sour Diesel bud sites.

I'll have a video update on Monday.
