Thanks Dan, that pic is a bud thats turning pretty purple on the Qrazy Train. It only has a few right now that are turning, but i hope the whole plants will turn towards the end of the month. I've found no mold so far on any of them besides on one calyx of the KK which got pinched off.

Went out yesterday to drop some mothballs around the site to deter the rabbit that keeps munching on my branches. Everything is coming along nicely, and although the leaf fading along the veins on the QT is still there, it seemed like the dose of N that i gave on Wed. seemed to help the leaf cupping and fading on the new growth. From now on i'm still going to give light doses of veg nutes throughout flowering till about the last 3 weeks or so to keep them green and prevent leaf drop, they definitely still need some nitrogen during flowering, and i think that totally cutting that out will result in poorer yield, and quality. The QT and JH are beginning to frost up nicely, and the JH has a subtle sweet smell to it as well as a hint of skunk; looking forward to seeing how that one develops. No signs of mold yet, so hopefully this dry weather will stick around. been cold night the past few (right around frost temps), and cool days with full sun in the 60's- low 70's. lets hope they can stick it out til a week or so into OCT. To go any longer than that would be ridiculously awesome, but i'm not getting my hopes up. Going to do a feeding today with Tiger, big bloom, calmag, and molassess

that is a jungle man. Loving it dude. whats the height on the 2nd pic?
Thanks mane, thats the Jack Herer. she stands about 6'8 maybe 7' . she has a third stalk that is on the far side of her in the pic that you can just see the top of, but it adds a lot onto the size of the plant. between that one and the Qrazy train i don't know which is larger. The Kandy Kush ain't bad either.

killlin' it switch. Our plants look like they are at a similar stage. Keep an update about when you are thinking of harvesting...sounds like we are getting similar weather, neighbor. I'm following your expertise.

thanks man, went out today to check on them and the kandy kush is starting to swell pretty good. the other two are also in full bud and have put on quite a bit of resin since the last time i had seen them. I could only find one tiny spot of mold on the kandy kush, and i pinched that off, but we're supposed to get some rain tomorrow and scattered showers for the next two days but i hope they miss us. if i can get them to make it through this weekend without getting molded too badly, i think i'll be able to get at least another week out of them cause its supposed to clear up for a while.

well its been raining here all day and now its cleared up, but its still super foggy and wet out. THey're now saying scattered showers for the next two days, but sunday its supposed to clear up until monday or tuesday, then possible rain wed., then sun thursday i believe. I hope i didn't screw up by not taking them, but they still have a little way to go and they haven't had mold on them much this year, so i figured i'd try to push them through it and hope they don't get molded too badly and hopefully it dries out a bit tomorrow and the wind picks up. I don't know i'f im going to feed anymore because i may have to chop them soon and take what i can get if the weather outlook is too shitty.

Totally agree, this weeks weather sucks. I have a couple of problems that this weather isnt gonna help. This is the first year Iv notice the candy striped leaf hoppers tho, they dont seem to be doing to much damage, but i cant tell really. Got spotted leafs, frikn candy hoppers, mold... growing guerrilla style can be so depressing.

Youd think it was easy to get 10 elbows....... yeah still trying..... Oh well, theres always next year....

yeah man the candy hoppers don't do much if any real damage that i can tell. mold is the real killer around here. found two spots of it on my Qrazy train today, but the other two were mold free (knock on wood). ITs Pouring right now, and it poured yesterday and its supposed to be humid and rain tapering off tomorrow. I'm jsut holding out for a couple more days of good sun, but the forecast is looking shitty with more rain on wed. and thurs. I'll probably pull the kandy on wed. if its gonna be dry in the morning, maybe tuesday afternoon though, we'll see. this weather fucking blows, so depressing. its hard sleeping at night when i know my ladies are out there getting drenched. Shook off the buds as well as i could earlier today, but the QT and Jack have a ways to go. Gonna let them go as long as possible, btu at the same time gotta take em before the mold does. To get 10lbs u really gotta put some $ into soil, and alot of work into feeding and watering. IT'll definitely be hard hand watering, but nowhere near impossible. Where i'm at though with the sort season and shitty fall weather, it really wouldn't be worth it to put so much effort into it with so many variables out of your control. It just sucks having potential pound plants then having to harvest premature. Early flowering strains, or a greenhouse or carport greenhouse is a good investment.

yeah im freaking about the mold issues here.hoping to go check on my girls soon. Thats half the prob with doin guerrilla style, you cant always go to ur girls.
Last year it took 3 days to get out after a huge rain storm. It had knocked over the biggest plants and they all molded bad. lost probly 50% to the nasty stuff.

Where im at there is no way I could do any sort of start or finishing close to home. I do see the difference with the guys who can baby their plants. One of these years im just gonna camp out with em all summer.

Farmer, I am pulling for you... I just updated my thread and let's just say it isn't going well. This stretch of humid rainy weather makes me think
I must have done something bad in a former life. Keep your head up and try to stay positive.

hey man sorry to hear about all your mold problems, sucks. Went out and checked on them today, and they've swelled and put on alot of resin in the past couple days. Its been around 80 yesterday and today which helped, but the humidity has been up as well. not as bad today as yesterday. they're saying its supposed to be nice thru wed, but thursday is supposed to shower. I'm really surprised how much mold and mildew resistance the kandy kush has. Literally only one tiny popcorn bud had mold a few days ago, but its been raining on and off with high humidity for the past week or so and it hasn't been touched. buds are swelled up nice and so frosty. the actual branches below some of the buds are building trichs and the fan leaves are getting pretty frosted as well, really impressed with the KK as an outdoor strain. not huge cola's, but nice dense medium size buds, definitely looks more like OG buds. The Jack has been building some pretty big colas, and i'm just hoping i can get them to dense up in the next couple days before the rain hits. THe QT was the furthest behind in flowering, but is putting on alot of resin now, and the calyxes are swelling. I would love to get another week or two out of the QT and JH, so i'm debating on making some shelters for them to keep the rain off them. I saw 4mm plastic covering that was 10x25 for cheap, and i'd just make the frame out of spruce poles or saplings, then maybe use a heavy duty staple gun to anchor it to the side of the frame, and run heavy string across the poles to keep it from sagging. I'd also lash the poles together to avoid any hammering or screwing. I figured even if i keep it up for just the shitty weather coming up that would be worth it cause they wouldn't be doing flyovers in shitty weather anyways. Tried to get some pics the past couple times i've been out, but my camera in my phone shit the bed, so i've got to make it out with a digi next time. stay posted.

fuck i just wrote my update then erased it all by accident. anyways i made the shelter and all three are under it except the kk sticks out a bit. THe peak is about 10' tall and its about 8' wide and i'd say 16-18' long. My friend and i tried to camo it a bit with some camo spray paint i bought, but it didnt coat the plastic too well, and we were applying it in the dark which didnt help. THe weather supposed to be kinda shitty til monday, so i was just gonna keep the shelter up til then cause it sticks out like a sore thumb from above. i'm not really worried about flyovers, but a civilian plane reporting it isn't out of the question. The KK has swelled a lot and the pistils are dying back some now, so i'm just waiting for it to fill in and bulk up a bit more. that will be the first to get chopped sometimes this week pending on weather. The JH is filling in nicely and has some pretty big colas. its been really stacking the resin on the past week or so as well. that will be second to get chopped, and the QT has a ways to fill in, but it is definitely more succeptible to mold than the other two, so we'll see how long she can go. everything should be down by the week's end unless the weather outlook is looking too good to pass up. I'm gonna get some pics tomorrow before i head south for the weekend. gotta get away from these plants cause i cant stop thinking about them and i'm definitely getting antsy. I've been going out once a day for the past 5 days on mold patrol and haven't seen any for the past couple days. the QT is defintely the most succeptible, and the JH has had a little bit , but the KK still hasn't been touched besides a little bud a few weeks ago. Theres been a couple good size busts in my area lately and i heard that rippers are out in force, so that doesn't help me sleep any better. I can't wait until they're out of the woods and hangin in the closet.
