2011 Toronto Cannabis Cup

Just wondering if anyone can give me any insight into what to expect at the 2011 Toronto cannabis cup.. They seemed to move it way out in the sticks this year and I wanted to know a little about Canadian laws...like how can they have this style of event...is it considered a protest or freedom of civil liberties?

I am really looking forward too it, but I am always paranoid as hell...

Plus I am coming from the states and wanted to make sure wouldn't have any issues...

Laws up here are pretty relaxed. Went to tons of weed marches in T.O. and never had a problem. The cops even closed the streets while we marched and smoked up and down the downtown core (but those were peaceful protests, it's a little different). I'm sure it will be fine.

CannaSeur have you been to the previous ones? just wondering on sampling sizes and where the hell i should get a hotel?

Im actually going to be competing in the private grower category but Im assuming that it will be 1gr. samples as they told me to have my entry packaged in 1gr. bags. As for hotels, apparently theres a place very close to the cup. Sorry for the late reply, I barely come online anymore.

well my hotel is belleville as of now across the street from the strip club ( how do you tip a stripper with coins? i am not trying to be rude i really don't know? LOL) , but i might switch it to camping on the res. I would really like to know if there are any shuttles,taxis, or buses i could take back a forth...for 8 km ride..don't want DUID ( not sure if they have these in Canada) and american plates might draw some unwanted attention too.... well looking forward to it...cannasuer looking forward to trying your sample....thanks for the info...

Not at all my friend. ANd the ty expo only registered patients can use/go into the vapor lounge.

Is Toronto's Mayor Rob Ford going to be a judge? He has a conviction for weed... which he got in the US, btw.

yeah man! me and my friend bought two tickets today... to sick to pass up. kinda amped cause our towns only sold 2 judge passes and 2 camping passes... which is dope cause Im tryin to keep it on the dl so a bunch of stupid people dont goo0o0o. but yea I went to the toronto march this year to. and they're givin out the address only to people who buy tickets ect. should be chillen they've done it for years before. seeds, grinders, gifts, fo0o0od! im buyin a ticket for the amsterdam cannabis cup this year to... amped.
