that is a different meteor that has nothing to do with 2012.oh and btw, that meteor, is supopsed to hit us some time in 2029-2030. so 2012 was only 18 years off ?
there are so many different ideas with this date i think atleast one of them must come true. and if nothing happens our own fucked up government is going to do something.. they can make the worst natural disasters happen with a flick of a switch.. either way.. whether its aliens or a super volcano at least 80% of the WORLD population is going bye bye. and im trying to be on the 20% side.. im not 100% sure but i will be in 2010.. and if this thing is legit im gunna start digging as deep as i can.. underground shelters and unsinkable ships will be the only surviors..

I've already proven that guy wrong, there are no NEO objects capable of producing world ending effects within the next century. if our magnetic poles get fucked with in any way (2012) it will make every natural disaster imaginable come to life. super volcanos, twisters etc.. all happening at the same time so yes every one of the seven seas is going to be effected.

2. Proxima and Alpha Centauri are 4.2 and 4.4 light years away. in a few years this tri star system will be closer than 3 light years. Should the G or K class stars in this trio become unstable it would devastate our Solar System.
3. Barnards Star typically at 6 light years will come within 3 light years of the Ort Cloud but being a M class red dwarf it may only disturb a few comets.
4. Lalonde 21185 8.3 light years away to 5 light years
